I'm out of this conversation. The whole musical idea angers me somewhat

I can respect that. I mean realistically this probably won't ever happen.

After the job he did reverting back to horror with Curse, winning over quite a lot of the older fan base that weren't happy with the comedy direction, I can't see it either

I was thinking that they do a mixed bag approach. Like have a guy in a Chucky costume but the sets are oversized. Scenes with other character can either be tromployed in as part of the set or have separate songs where they can interact with a puppet that isn't singing. Lol.

Ya I am not saying it can't be done, cuz it can be. Anyone with the right amount of money can do whatever they want. But lets face facts, it'd probably be horrible. Sure some may like or love it, but it'd be an even smaller niche of a small niche of fans in itself. It'd be like if they wanted to make a Jar Jar Binks sequel to Star Wars.

Jar Jar Binks sucks.... lol.
Truth be told anything can be made into a Musical. I mean seriously... Rocky... really? I even seen excerpts from "Toxic Avenger: The Musical" I am sure Schindler's List could even be made into a musical.
Now for most... this sounds like a stupid idea and it is for the most part. However if done right it could be good.
I agree with it only garnering in an even smaller niche of fans. You're going to have people who who'll love it, or people who are just that devoted to Chucky. Aside from that I don't see the general public investing any real interest.

I'd rather read "50 Shades of Chucky"

Like I said. Make it a Halloween show. That's how it'd get a bigger audience. People will go around that time. That's why things like HHN exist. Because people will go.

Chucky poetry slam for the win.
Maybe even a Chucky "def poetry" slam.

I say make it a special DVD that comes with a proper boxed set that has real extras for CP2 and CP3, signed lithographs, mini doll replica, etc.

I think they did. For as stupid as it sounds I am sure there is a market for this sort of stuff or otherwise it wouldn't even be up for discussion.
However... I can see where CP1 would make a better musical then the latter films. Although you could propbably fit the entire frinchise into one musical. However, I do not relish the idea of Chucky and Tiffany singing "Summer Loving" together.

I think a Charles Lee Ray backstory would serve better as a musical, with the final act ending with the opening scene of CP1.

On the Bride Of Chucky commentary, they mentioned that they were going to do a Chucky album, with Chucky and Tiffany singing "Hit The Road Jack" and Chucky doing "House Of The Rising Sun", but the album got scrapped. I'm not sure if that was a joke or not (they sounded legit when talking about it), but since we are on the topic of a Chucky musical, I thought that would be interesting to mention.
