I don't really like musicals, so I'm against a chucky musical. But who knows how it'll turn out. I'll probably end up watching it anyways if don were to make a chucky musical for the simple reason that it's chucky lol.

I love musicals. I was involved in musical theater for over 10 years of my life, and still find a lot of joy in showtunes.
However, I really hope to God they never make a Chucky musical. That would hurt the franchise more than benefit it, I have to be honest. It would be like Seed on steroids...which is not what the franchise needs at all.

I started writing lyrics a few months back and recently I have been picking up the instruments and tinkering with making music for it.
I will share it here when I am finished.

Ya I agree, this would be bad news unless they were going for something completely silly / stupid. If that's the case, then the South Park guys ought to do it.

If they were to do a musical, it should be after the franchise has ended, in my opinion. Though, I'd watch it for the sake of it involving Chucky.

Agreed, it should be after everything has ended, as something this silly and campy would contrast with the current dark horror of Curse of Chucky and possible future sequels. With that said, I would totally watch a Chucky musical.

I wouldn't watch it.
In my opinion it'd be shite.
So no. No matter who was in it, who wrote the music, just no.
No...

I feel so strongly about it that you could have Tilly, butt naked, on all fours, covered in olive oil and I wouldn't watch it...
not all of it anyway...

Not all musicals are campy or cheesey. There are a few really good serious musicals out there. However, when people hear the word "musical," they tend to think of something along the lines of High School Musical, which obviously doesn't translate to Chucky. I think it should be attempted off broadway, which is like the equivalent of going to dvd in the broadway world. Lol. A lot of shows move to off broadway after their broadway run.
