www.ew.com/article/2016/07/07/childs-play-blu-ray-scream-factorySo today, Scream Factory announced that they would be releasing a CP1 Blu-Ray on October 18. Most of the bonus features have already been on the Birthday Edition except for one. A Tom Holland commentary track will be included, so that should be interesting. They're also saying more extras will be revealed at a later date, so it's possible we may be getting more new extras rather than ones we've already gotten. Also, if you order it directly from Scream Factory, you get a couple of posters and slip cases and a limited edition NECA Chucky doll. So that's pretty neat. Nothing really that big or anything, but I thought it'd be cool to talk about.

Nice but honestly the only extras I want are the deleted scenes and I think those are in a vault somewhere to never see the light of day.

Yeah, deleted scenes would be cool. I've always been curious about those photo stills that weren't in the movie.

I am totally buying it.
Granted, I already have CP1 on Blu-Ray but the figure is too awesome looking to pass on.
On an Interesting note... NECA???
Maybe they found a loop hole since it appears to be in the style of their Mego Retro figures.

I don't think we got deleted scenes or out takes on the boxed set. I think those photos in the picture gallery are the closest thing to deleted scenes. Sucks because I'd love to see those deleted scenes in full, but maybe they're lost forever. Much like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, the world may never know.
And yeah, if this does well, maybe we'll finally get proper CP2 and CP3 Blu-Ray releases. I'd like to see those deleted scenes for both of them on there, as well as a couple of commentary tracks from Don and/or the directors.
And that figure looks cool. Awesome that it comes with the hammer.

After a bit of a faff to find someone that I knew in the USA to get it shipped to.
The merchandise this year has certainly stepped up its game
Can't wait to see the other Neca figure that's due this year.

Wow... I am getting rusty in my old age.
For being an action figure aficionado IDK how this slipped by me. Lol.
Well then... if it's anything like the other Ultimate figures they've made it should come with a couple head options.
Maybe Good Guy head, then Angry Chucky, and maybe cigarette light burn Chucky. Weapons too, and Neca already made all the CP1 Weapons with a previously released Chucky figure from 2006.
Also I think I figured out the loop hole here. Maybe Neca got rights to Child's Play 1.
Usually the other licenses will be from CP2 to Curse (even though we got no Curse merchandise at all)
If so, this is awesome, I just hope they make a new body. Usually the Ultimate line will consist of bodies they already had, with added articulation. I wasn't a fan of NECA's Gremlin Body Chucky on what was labeled a CP3 figure, even though the weapons that figure came with were all from CP1.
