This is completely awesome... and sad. Whilst most kids want to go to Disney Land.. or world.. I want to go to Universal Studio's. Someday... Someday.
Also you're right. I do have that awful mold. I believe the rubber head I have is a defect from the puppet they used for the Chucky's Terror Tram videos. Which if you think about it... it's a video. They could have used an actual puppet from the film or something close. Instead it was pretty much they same tech use to operate Burt and Ernie... but it was Chucky. Like WTF?

If you do go, I'd reccomend going during Halloween Horror Nights. It's a separately ticketed event, and tickets are purchased ahead of time, so the normal rides have little to no wait. The main event of HHN is, however, the eight extreme haunted houses, all new every year. Half are usually movie-based while the others are original. Keep in mind that this is Universal, so the sets are movie-quality! Not to mention that they serve Jell-O shots in blood bags around every corner.

Holy hell... yeah I have to go to that one of these years. Consider it on my bucket list.
I'd be happy to see any kind of Chucky prop that isn't a Spencer's doll. Lol.

I just found this great walkthrough of House of Horrors, filmed shortly before closure:
