I didn't find anything from the Seed commentary too interesting. It was just Don and Jennifer being buddy buddy...

Been years since I watched it with the commentary but I never knew about the Canadian content law that applies to Canadian productions. I remember it being like a certain percentage of the cast or crew have to be canadian when making the film in Canada. Kinda like keeping their own people in work

I remember hearing about all the original casting choices, like Marilyn Manson as Damien, Clive Barker and Stephen King's aborted cameos, stuff like that.

They have to be Canadian citizens lol, I could have totally been in this movie....too bad I was 3 years old.
The same was with Seed, except in certain percent of the actors had to be from England.

I think he was supposed to be a gravedigger as well, they were sort of like, talking about the legend of Chucky and kind of bashing it.
And yeah, the whole Canadian Content (and English Content in Seed) is pretty interesting.

I noticed Seed had a lot of English speaking actors and actresses in it.
Same with Hellraiser 1and 2.
Maybe not a lot but a good amount enough to where the likely hood of having 2 or more people with a British accent in an American environment is unlikely.

I always thought Seed was shot in Romania for some reason it was so there are plenty of Romanian extras, but I don't remember the technicalities of it all but they had to have a certain number of English people working on the film |
