Even so, what additional information does this hoax provide other than the 2017 year? I mean Don confirmed a 7th movie, and all these pages really say outside of that is a possible name and year. So I mean I can't really feel fooled because most of the information, fake or real, is kind of common sense.

Well the title of your post makes it seem definitive.
And I will PayPal you $100 if that is legitimately Brad Dourif.

I'd love if it somehow did end up being him and you had to put your money where your mouth was, lmao.

Spanky I just think any definitive news we'll get will be straight from Mancini himself. I mean it seems he'll be writing and directing the next one too. He's a bit too involved lol. I'd be cool with him just writing...

I'd guess that is fake. I'm pretty sure I've seen that fan made poster before and I know for a fact Fiona said her dad's technical knowledge extends to his kindle and not social media. Also check out his spelling mistakes. Would he use smileys? I'm guessing the very first we here from this will be from Don Mancini himself

This is why you're good stuff smngry. THANK YOU! I thought I was going insane here. I bet some people would believe this is his Twitter page too: twitter.com/brad_dourif

Well look... I said these pages might not be legit but it's still fun to discuss possibilities.
I mean... if you want to be part of a fan site that's run more like a well oiled prison camp I'll gladly lead you to their direction.

I really doubt these are legit, I saw something like this in Chucky Nation this morning and I didn't even fully read it because I doubted the legitimacy lol but I do appreciate the conversation that's been brought up around it.
It would be nice to have a sequel in 2 years, but I doubt it.

If anything I think we should get a sequel sooner than later. Granted I want them to take time to get a quality film but I also want them to strike while the iron is hot because Chucky is dangling on the edge of popularity vs obscurity.
I only say this because he is in direct to video territory now and I want him to still be relevant to the common viewer and casual fan by the time the next film comes out.

Yeah, I usually only trust verified accounts, but still, it's given us interesting stuff to talk about, and yeah, I did sort of suspect it to come out earlier, since Chucky is relevant again for the first time in a long time. But I don't mind waiting a bit if in the end we get a great product.

I was just thinking.... okay that poster is a fake... I knew that right off the bat. However, the person who made it apparently either accepts or likes the idea of the movie taking place on a train.
I have to admit... I am kind of in favor of that over the asylum. Yes... an asylum offeres more environment but then I get thinking that even under the guise of a doll Chucky has no place being there. At least in a train there are a whole host of people when can be fooled by him.

Pretty much, and as I said, what information did this even give that we didn't know? Lol, I mean a project release year isn't really anything to be fooled by, it's not like it said "Fall 2015".

Yeah the curseofchucky twitter page is most likely a fake since it doesn't have one of those "twitter verified" symbols next to the page name.
