The only misunderstanding I have had was how Chucky lost his legs in CP2. I also thought the blood trail came from the guy that got killed by the eye plugging machine. I actually thought Chucky managed to drag him hence the blood.
It ended up making no sense to me as I got older. Lol.

Same with the CP2 thing, I always thought he lost them in the machine, but then I just recall him saying "I'm gonna cut off your legs too" toward Andy, and it implied to me that he cut his own off to escape the machine.

I thought maybe he might have slipped passed the back doors and that what cut his legs off. Of course you can clearly see that this didn't happen.
I guess he did cut is own legs off.

I don't even understand what happened in that machine?

I think the machine was very over the top, dramatic, what with the arms grabbing body parts and plunging them in there, then the bloody pulp rolling back down the conveyor belt...
But it looked pretty bad ass and led us to believe, for a moment, that he was done for.
One of my biggest misunderstandings was how the hell did he get into Karen's chimney breast near the end of the original film?
That still puzzles me slightly to this day... Unless there was a service hatch of some sort

How did Chucky manage to get away from the limbs the machine was putting into him?

My thought was he knew what was bound to happen if he stayed in there, so he cut his own legs off with his knife hand to get out of the way.

But we hear him say "No please no!" as if he's getting limbs put on him.

Yeah but I also notice Chucky gets so desperate and pleads like a little bitch whenever he is in shit, lol. He is manipulative every chance he gets. Also maybe he started getting his legs stabbed by the machine and decided to cut and roll or something.

That's a good point... how did he get in Karen's chimney. NTM getting into the right apartment... he must have studied the layout really well because I believe fireplaces in apartments like that are intertwined with others.

Tim Allen managed to do it in apartments that didn't even have fireplaces...

Good Point, and because you mentioned it their is now telling if Play Pals had a little help from Santa when making the Good Guy dolls.
I smell a crossover film and it will be horrible.
