Call me a loser, but I did watch this movie with the commentary on and I did hear a few potential celebrity cameos Don wanted to get for this movie, such as Marilyn Manson taking Alexis Arquette's role.
The most intriguing potential cameo would be Stephen King as the grave digger at the end of the film. I guess what was supposed to happen would be Stephen King would be talking to a fellow grave digger about how the Lakeshore Strangler and Chucky in general was totally 80's and not scary, as they dig Charles Lee Ray's grave. Of course Chucky and Jade come along, Chucky says some smart ass remark and kills their asses. Unfortunately this couldn't happen because Stephen King's schedule conflicted with filming.
Now, I personally think if there were big names in this movie even as a cameo, the popularity of this film would increase because of name value of having Marilyn Manson or Stephen King in it at all would be huge, especially in the horror genre. Anybody agree or think I'm nuts?

Those two cameos would have been pretty solid. Kind of like how in one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies they had Alice Cooper play Freddy's father.

The Stephen King cameo would have been awesome, especially if he played his character from Creepshow.

I could be wrong but I too watched it with commentary and I recall Don saying something about Damian's Character being too weak for Manson's tastes... I could be wrong but I can see Marilyn Manson turning thus role down because he would have pretty much played a parody of himself and Manson seems like the kind of guy that takes himself seriously.
I think Alexis did a good job for what to role called for... a wannabe Manson. Lol. Especially when they showed the pic of him as Harold Fitzwater. Lol. I remember the look on my one friend's face when they showed that new segment. It was appropriately funny. Lol.
I am surprised that Don never tried to get other slasher stars make cameos. Like if Stephen King couldn't fulfill that role... what about Robert Englund?

Yeah I believe that Don did mention in the end despite the name value Manson would have brought, there really was no better actor than Arquette for the role.
It's really disappointing that the schedules conflicted, it would have been pretty killer seeing Stephen King in a Chucky flick. Robert Englund would be pretty awesome to see too, though.

Now I don't think they would go that far lol
That would almost be like that one stupid rumour the Glen was gonna marry Carrie White in the next movie...lol

Well it was probably written with no punctuation, grammer, or format, so it's gotta be true.

Yeah that was pretty awful. The only conceptual Chucky crossover I have ever heard was Leprechaun, which sorry, just because I am a Chucky fan, doesn't mean I'm gonna say Chucky would win no matter what.

The only reason that's even brought up is because of height reasons.
Personally... I always thought the Leprechaun idea was stupid... and even though Chucky is now in straight to DVD territory we dont need to be throwing in more schlock after we just got out of it.
