What are your thoughts on this?
Granted we know Don was paying homage to the fans of Chucky's look in Bride and Seed but obviously this is technically a new look for him.
I think it's safe to say that either he was nearly fully restored... or Tiffany took a new Good Guy and made his face look that way. He no longer has staples holding his hair to his head, nor tattered clothing and his one stitched hand appears to be replaced with a new one.
I prefer a non stitched look and it was nice to see that after so long... but I actually like this "stitched" look better than the other two.
Although his look in Bride was better at selling the effect that we was a doll that was sewn back together which made complete sense at the time.

Yeah, I liked it better than the other stitched looks, but I am with you preferring non-stitched.
It does make me wonder, like you, about his rebuilding process. All Tiffany knows him as is stitched, so it's completely plausible she modified him to look that way from a fresh doll, but then to cover him up again... seems pointless kind of.

That would be pointless... but that's her Chucky.

It's also equally as pointless to restore him to a certain point then stop... so either possibility is plausible.

Maybe she was pressed for time in some sense? I wouldn't know why, but that's a possibility.

I know I have said this many times before but also want to believe she applied the latex makeup after reasurection. If she done so before that latex would have become part of his face.

Yeah that is true as well.

I'm one of the few people who likes stitched Chucky a little more than unstitched (DON'T KILL ME pun intended) but I like his stitched looks in Bride and Seed more than in Curse. Mostly because he looks strange to me with a normal body and scars on his face. I was glad when it was revealed he was stitched underneath though... don't get me wrong, I'm all for them working a way into Chucky having his original look again, but he just looked soooo weird when he came to life (like that scene with Alice under the covers) and once his actual face was shown he looked better.

Agree with sweetface, like stitched Chucky more, but I liked his stitched look in Bride better.

I don't really care about what kind of face he has. A quality movie is a quality movie, and the movies that I identify as quality are CP1, CP2 and Bride. So two non-stiched and one stitched.
But Chucky and Tiffany looked horrible in Seed, and looked great in Bride. Chucky looked horrible in CP3 and Curse.

I agree unstitched is king but I liked seed's stitched look the best.

I don't know why I like his stitched look in Curse... it may be the Christian Slater hair.

I don't know man, I don't think I have one good thing to say about the way Chucky looks in Curse...

Which look? The damn thing had five different looks!
Hey Don, here's a PROTIP: If Chucky is about to be shown alive, don't clue us in on that fact by showing the ALIVE DOLL seconds before, thus clueing us in that he'll be coming alive. Do what Tom Holland did. *static doll* "Talk or I'll throw you in the fire!" *alive doll*
NOT
*alive doll* Chucky I'm scared *alive doll* You fucking should be
