Did you like the court room scene and did you want more? I personally liked it and thought it was the perfect amount.

Yeah, I really liked the court room scene. It was a breath of fresh air compared to the mansion that we spent most of the movie in, lol.

I liked it. Nica bragging about how she's still alive was great.

The doll they did use kind of bugged me a little, just looked off to me.

I didn't like it, and wished this scene could've been in CP2 like originally planned. The only part I liked was Nica saying "I'm still alive!" although her last "Heh I'm still alive", which she kind of said to herself, sounded awkward and unnatural.

It was neat to see Chucky as evidence but I also find it odd that no one questioned the doll. Especially with the history it has.
Usually at this point in most franchises the people become self aware of the urban legends. By Nightmare on Elm Street 6... the parents knew Freddy was real. Same goes for Jason or any other horror villian.
It would just be nice if for once there is someone educated about Chucky. Granted we did get that in the form of Nica so I guess I can't complain. I would just like to think that there was at least a couple people in that court room who believed Nica. Especially since she isn't the first case dealing with an alleged "Killer Good Guy Doll named Chucky"

It seemed like Father Frank did at the dinner table. What'd he say again?

Father Frank just noted how familiar the doll looked. Now I am unsure if he was referencing the popularity of the doll itself, or like all the murders it was tied to.

He remembered the dolls, Ian mentioned how popular they were back in the 80s, father Frank said he'd seen them on the news...
Draw your own conclusion from that

I had a feeling that Father Frank view it as something bad, but didn't know why. My guess would be that he saw it on the news due to previous rumors of a killer but just doesn't exactly remember the stories surrounding it.
Also doesn't help that the Good Guy was most likely on the news for it's popularity. I bet Chucky's escapade ruined potential Black Friday sales later that November in 1988.

I really liked that scene. I liked nica telling herself that shes still alive that second time. The whole scene was great imo.

Yeah... she committed mental suicide but at that point all she has was the last laugh and took it.
I personally would have stabbed him since everything looked crazy anyway.
