I was just thinking that what would have Chucky been like if he wasn't a Good Guy doll. Like what if he was more like a stuffed animal or a plush toy.
Also... what if Chucky were forced to take another form like transfer his soul into a different kind of doll. Doesn't have to be extreme but what if it were something similar to a Good Guy?
IDK... just a random thought I am having whilst I am having a smoke, and coffee in my kitchen.

Then it would have been "Ted".

This video cracks a joke about him transferring his soul into a Godzilla toy inside the store, lol.
I think if they would have gone a different route than a doll, the movie itself would be kind of different. I just don't think it would be the same if he was some kind of plush that came to life, it would still be pretty much the same plot, just switching what he turns into, but I could imagine it changing a lot. I'm trying to think of how a plush would look when coming to live and I just can't picture it well.
I'm glad they went with a doll obviously, but it is interesting to think about the other possibilities.

I'd like to see Chucky and Ted in a film together. I know that goes against the grain of the franchise keeping to horror but I can see the banter between them being amusing.
Also I can see Chucky not killing him just for the fact that it's another doll. Tiffany is different because that was his wife. As Chris Rock said if you never contemplated killing your spouse or lover... you've never been in love.
I can see him hanging with Ted. Chucky would easily kill Ted's kidnappers.
