Were apparently the original names for Phil and Joanne. They were written to be older. I wonder why they ended up going for younger?

Those sound like the people responsible for Pepperidge Farm. Phil and JoAnn sounds much more contemporary.

Alright. It is interesting to think that Joanne and Phil could've been older people. Why did Don change them to younger? DID he? Was it a studio request or a creative thing?
