has ever brought up or discussed, is the relationship between Charles and Barb.
That powerful moment when young Barb looks up at Charles and he says that she has "her mother's eyes", is great filmmaking. To know that decades down the line, he would meet her again, in a different form, and say the same thing right before killing her, is so great.

I reckon so, I mean I am unsure how much of a "relationship" they had, seeing Barb barely remembered who he was in the home videos. But I do like to wonder what went through Barb's head before Chucky's knife did.

However loose their connection was, this was the child of the woman he had such a crazy obsession over. Charles gives her a really curious, haunting look in the flashback. He could've loved her too, in his own twisted way.

Well he kind of did, he was gonna go pick her up from daycare or whatever and was trying to be their father.

Oh yeah. That really gives her death substance. Even though it was an awkward death. It would've made sense to stab her multiple times. I'd think losing an eye wouldn't necessarily kill you haha.

Yeah, I did research on that and it could be possible for it to induce an acute cardiac event

The one that doesn't make sense though is Ian's jaw-removal. He wouldn't instantly die from that.

Well he could of snapped his neck with the force of the swing.

Again, it's plausible that it induced a cardiac arrest. How severe can vary, but give the fact he's just had his jaw smashed in with an axe, you'd expect it to be pretty bad
