Does anybody else wish we got to spend more time with these people? Namely Joanne, Phil and Grace. I mean Joanne is second-billed and she dies before the third act!
Does anybody have the Child's Play 2 script? You can apparently but it from alexvincentonline.com. I have a suspicion that a lot of character scenes were cut out of this insanely short movie(80 minutes!).
The thing I loved about the first movie is that we have Andy, Karen and Mike all working together. The child with the adults. And then the partner even comes in at the end. Would've been cool to see Joanne and Phil at the Good Guy Factory. But I guess it makes it creepier if the children are all on their own.
Also, what are your favorite character moments from these three? I love Phil's asshole-stare after he says "Joanne, please", when he's forcing Andy to open the basement door.

Meh, I never really cared for the adult characters in this movie, and it does make it creepier for the children to be on their own at the factory.

I agree, some of the deleted scenes had some more interaction between Phil and Joanne, and the novel had some of those scenes as well as one with Chucky hiding from Kyle as she watch TV, painting her nails.
I really enjoyed Phil's moment of disbelief before Chucky killed him, kind of like "the kid was right all along".

The moment with Phil is a great one. I've noticed that whenever an adult realizes Chucky is alive, they don't say anything. Phil just yells, Kettlewell yells, Grace gets wide eyed. Like, what gives? Just once, I'd like someone to go, if very quickly, "Doll's alive doll's alive kid was righaghhhh!"

I guess it's just so bizarre to them they are at a loss for words, not like Chucky gives them much time anyway, lol.
I liked Shelton's reaction best, even though he wasn't an adult.
