According to Don, originally Redman's role was originally offered to Quentin Tarantino, who like Redman, would have played himself. However, Tarantino declined. What would you have thought of this casting?

The movie would have had a lot more blood and gore in it lol

Yeah, like Chucky singing "Stuck In The Middle With You" and severing Tarantino's ear.

It probably wouldn't have been as comical either, which might have helped Seed.

Well, Tarantino has a dark sense of humor, so that could have helped as well.

And add a nice sense of weirdness to this already existing weird movie.

I think that would have been amazing. I love Tarantino, apparently he was a big Bride fan

Yeah, Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite films of all time, so him appearing in this would have been extremely interesting. And who ISN'T a big Bride fan?

Yeah, I can only think it would have made Seed better, but that wouldn't have been to daunting of a task.

He turned it down because he had to do promotional work for Kill Bill Vol.1. Anybody who thinks that Quentin thought that he was above this material clearly doesn't know Quentin. He's the most un-pretentious person ever, and is a huge fan of Bride.

It would have gone a lot different had he accepted the part.

I can see either side, but I find it hard to believe it would have been worse with him instead of Redman. Then again, with the main demographic of Seed fans being younger people, I can see where it might miss if they haven't seen some of his works, especially his older stuff.

Don't get me wrong... I love Chucky... but I love Quentin Tarantino's work. His movies are so different, so unique, that I would hate to see his name associated with another person's commercialized work. Yes, he's cool and doesn't have that "I'm above this" attitude towards the genre... but as a fan... it'd be like attending a high society dinner party and someone decided to put out a tray of hotdogs and put it next to the caviar, or vise versa and someone is selling caviar at a baseball game.
Each thing has it's place in this world.
