Well did she?
She did say "I think I dated him" so who is to say she didn't. The 80's were a crazy time. For all we now that Peddler could have been a wealthy business man at the beginning of the 1980's but thanks to being convicted for sharing inside stock trade information, a bad cocaine addiction, and the broken heart the Maggie left when she said her goodbye's... he is now a Peddler.
Only reason Maggie doesn't remember... again... cocaine and hitting Studio 54 every night. That tends to make people barely remember who they are let alone those they've shared lives with.

I'd like to think that Maggie has dated more people than just the Peddler, if you know what I mean. In the words of Tiffany, "You can always smell it on girls who sell it.".

Well seeing she said Andy would be "the best date she has had in a while", I think Maggie is pretty much a hood-rat.

Usually nice sweet woman like Karen have to have that loose unattached friend to live vicariously through and to balance out the friendship.
Criswell said "I can't imagine why"... maybe they "dated" too.

Think she was implying that she typically date's run down type of guy's, and Andy being the best classed type she would have ever dated...

Now what if she dated Charles Lee Ray at one point in time?

She probably did... like the peddler he has long hair and wears a long coat. It's the bathing that's optional.

Now what if she dated Charles Lee Ray at one point in time? Oh now this, this would make for a interesting side story in the new film, I know she is long dead, but it would be a fun factoid to have in the film non the less lol.

I think it would have been mentioned before if thid did happen. I mean he did just die and him being killed was all over the news. Also he did go by the name "Chucky" as a human. So I would like to think her reaction to the doll's name would have raised some red flags in her. Especially with his name being in the tabloids not to long before that.
It's not a bad idea and I love playing connect the dots with characters in films but it could end up being convoluted after a while.
Like the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies. Yeah it's great that Spider-Man also had some personal beef with his enemies also as Peter Parker but did every Villain have to discover his true identity or be connected to him in some way. I am sorry but millions of people live in NY and you mean to tell me that ALL of his enemies happen to have a personal connection with him too.
I already see where this new Spider-Man franchise is making the same mistakes.
