Why do so many people say this and seed suck. These two movies aren't perfect but they are very good and entertaining at what they do.People say things like,"this is shit, and etc.One thing us for sure, bride is definitely better than seed.you either accept this movies as spin off and something totally different or a continuing story for this antagonist.

I would say it's because Bride and Seed are more comedic than the first three. Personally, I love both of them, but I can see why people don't like Bride or Seed.

It's just a generational thing, lol. It is mostly due to how you were brought into the series and what you are accustomed to regarding Chucky. I wouldn't say Bride sucked, just different for me, and Seed, well yeah, lol.
Personally, I prefer strict horror, with a splash of the comedy aspect.
Now for myself, which I know others share the same opinion, it will come down to him being stitched. It's just more scary and creepy to see a regular doll, hiding in plain site, causing no suspicion whatsoever, because he just looks like a regular doll. The stitched doll is going to stick out, make you think "oh there's something wrong with that doll" and it takes away from the suspense and how creepy it is, and makes it less scary for me.
The other aspect is the movie including kids, it always scares me more than some dopey adults. Thing is, if you want a kid to realistically attach themselves to a toy, it's gotta look like a toy. No parents in their right mind would give their kid a stitched doll like that, and a kid would be freaked out by it, thus not forming any attachment to the doll, in turn not creating the perceived innocence that really provides a scare factor for me in the movies. Now of course there are hardcore kids out there that are into evil and all that crap, but for the most part, no.
Another big factor for me personally is the number of killers involved in a movie like this. For me, less is more. I don't really mind a human Tiffany, but once it got to be more than one doll, that's when I had trouble trying to take it seriously, which is fine because they gradually turned into a more comedy driven theme. Also the more killers draws attention away from Chucky, which I am not a big fan of.
Now I know some people like comedy in their horror, and good for them, that's cool, but when I am brought into a series that is strictly horror, with some wise-cracks by Chucky, and then it evolves into more flat out comedy, it just doesn't do it for me personally. That's why when I compare these movies, I do so in a relative fashion. Like yeah Seed is an entertaining movie and whatnot overall, but compared to the rest of the series, it falls extremely short because Chucky was pure horror to me, not comedy.
Also, I don't buy into the idea that you have to love all Chucky movies to be a "true fan" or whatever, which we really should ban that term, lol. Different strokes for different folks. But I mean opinions aside, the stats also have to be considered... which is that Seed almost single-handedly buried the franchise. I know some people like it and think it's the best and that's cool, but from Hollywood's perspective, it was a dud, plain and simple. I mean I am glad they were made, because they are Chucky, but I mean that doesn't mean I have to drool over them or think they are something they are not when it comes to how I feel about certain movies, lol.
Honestly I think the most common factor is "which movie did you see first?" That will be your introduction into a series, and will kind of set you up for what you might expect from a movie. And I also think it's an age and gender thing too. I can completely understand that if I were a female, that I would love to have a female character in the series like Tiffany, it's common sense, and it's perfectly fine. And also with age, I notice the people who say the old movies are "boring" tend to be a bit younger, and too be honest, movies nowadays typically don't require the longest of attention spans, lol. I am all for constant action, humor, etc., but when it comes to horror, I prefer the build up, suspense, and the other aspects many deem "boring".
But overall, I mean people can like or hate whatever they want, and personally I am not going to judge people based on that, because it's there right to say what they think of a movie, as long as they don't go insulting people personally for those opinions, the rest is just sour grapes.

Seeing as how I am one of two elder Primes on this site that got to see it from day one...
It was a bitter pill to swallow if you did see it from CP1 on forward. Bride was a well made movie and had the right amount of horror/comedy. The self references were light and just enough... and it was the change the franchise needed for the time it came out.
Seed was just a fucking mess. They accentuated the comedy, the self references, and the gore... but it actually went against the film. Also it just had too much going on in one movie which is never a good situation... just look at Spider-Man 3.
Seed as a movie on it's own... it's not bad, but in comparison to the franchise... it's the Jason X of the bunch.

I agree with the idea of whatever you were brought into with the series.
For me my relationship with the series started with Bride when I was 8, and because the following year I was still so young and Seed came out, I loved it because I thought it was super funny. Now that I'm older, I can appreciate it for what it is: a disasterpiece

Because they do. It's like asking why people hate john cena and roman reigns but love stone cold and the rock. Two of these are obviously better while the other two are shit lol.

I can understand why people hate these 2 films even though I am a huge fan of both. They are different from the previous films. Def Seed.
I came into the franchise with Bride. Then saw seed afterwards then CP1, 2 and 3..
What I can't understand myself is to why some people hate Curse, I really liked that one, it has to be my fave along side Bride and CP1. The movie IMO was the darkest out of the rest and I really loved the whole backstory thing.

I think Curse is hard for some to swallow from a continuity view point.
I know I felt slighted not having an explanation as to how he came back... and him not bleeding. Also... even though I look at it like Star Wars (I'm an original trilogy purist. Lol) the back story with Sarah made Chucky's connection to Tiffany seem like it wasn't even there. Then Tiffany shows up and that made things even more fucking confusing.
I also wasn't a fan of his unveiling of the stitched look. I get that it was done to appease both sets of fans but it added to the confusion. It would have made more sense just leaving him as he was. Then we could have just assumed that he got a new Good Guy body altogether.
Seed fans were upset that there was no mention of his kids. It's like... they made a sequel so what happened since? Yeah, Seed was a piece of crap, but they now have to stand by that piece of crap by giving us an update.
Was it a perfect movie by any means?... Fuck no. If anything if felt like a reboot retrofitted to be a sequel. But... for a 6th film in a horror series, NTM the only Horror series still going from it's original 80's slasher inception, it wasn't a bad flick and I think it had something to offer everyone.

People don't understand that all the 6 movies aren't perfect, like any horror movies. But they always see errors and plot holes in Bride, Seed and Curse. For me this franchise is better than other horror franchise, very imaginative, full of ideas and inspirations.

Personally I feel the first two movie were indeed perfect.
Also, not too many sequels measure up but Child's Play 2 managed to enhance CP1 yet offer many different elements so it wasn't a repeat of the same film.

I love all the movies. They're different, scary, funny, camp, but they're still entertaining. There are only 2 franchise like this: Friday the 13th and Freddy (but not all their movies are enjoyable like Chucky).
