Just found this interview from 2008 from AMC's Fear Fest in which Rob Zombie (Sorry, Doctor) interviews Don Mancini. They mainly talk about Bride (I guess they were showing it on AMC) as well as the potential remake. This is an old interview, and nothing is really revealed that we didn't already know, but I still thought this would be interesting to share.  |

House of 1000 Corpses is $8 and 2 hours I want back. My ex fiance dragged me to that and the only highlight was Jennifer Coolidge because she'll always be "Stiffler's Mom"  Let me put it to you this way... I saw 2 Rob Zombie flicks in theaters. I want both my time and money back. I saw Seed twice in theaters with no regrets and that's easily the worst Chucky movie. That's the difference between a great director and a director who barely touches mediocrity. |

I like him as well, I think most of his movies are good, with the exception of H2 being weird as hell, and Lords of Salem being mediocre at best.

Yeah, Lords Of Salem is really the only movie of his that I don't like. It was just so very dry, well for him at least. Probably because he's usually pretty graphic and gory in his movies and this one is just his wife screaming and crying randomly for 90 minutes. |
