I honestly feel the need to create a thread just dedicated to the amount of gratitude I have for this place and all the people who make it so great, and here it is.
We have been online for nearly 5 months, and the rapport we have built with one another on this site is absolutely phenomenal given the short time we have been around, it takes some fan sites years. Of course we have taken our own portion of slow days and bumps and bruises, but we have done pretty well. Typically, a lot of others would have given up....but you amazing people find it in yourselves to come here and contribute on a daily, even if it is just to say hi. Even that alone is fantastic, because we have developed something that makes us different and that is the feeling of community. That is what we are, a community that goes so far beyond the love of Chucky. I mean I know for a fact you guys will come here and talk about anything and will always be there if another member has an absolute shit day to cheer them up, and that is pretty insane.
Think of everything we have accomplished so far....and how this is just the beginning. I mean, we managed to become affiliates with the largest fan group on Facebook for Chucky fans. And I mean I have to really say it because I can't even think of enough incredible things to say about the fact that one of our own, smngry, brought his incredible talent to life here and it attracted the attention of people that I personally have dreamed of having conversations with, such as Fiona Dourif. Or even the fact that we have awesome members like Chucky115awesome who continuously makes images for us and posts them on every social outlet is amazing, I mean have you guys seen the following on our Instagram? Or how many sites can say that they have members willingly take time out of their day to keep track of what's going on here and record news episodes like our own Metal Matt? I can go on forever talking about the great contributions each of you members bring here, but I will spare you lol. This is so awesome, and I cannot wait to see how the rest of our tenure on the internet plays out, and I know for a fact there are some great things in mind for this place coming from the Admins.
I feel so absolutely lucky to be a part of the great staff we have here, who I consider my friends. I know I haven't been an Admin for very long, but I will never not admit to how much happiness this site has brought to my life, and it's because of everybody here....I only hope in return I can be a good Admin for the other 50 members on this place, and also a good friend to whoever needs one.
Again I just need to thank everybody who comes here to write fanfics, post pictures, videos, comments, opinions, make threads or just even show up. You make the Playground the Playground, and I would never want it to be any other way.
I just needed to say this, because I feel at the end of the day you all deserve a "thank you"
