...when the doll is first delivered and Sarah opens the box?
Watch her face when he says his name is Chucky!
Something there, I'm telling ya. Whether it ignited memories or she knew of the urban legend of Charles Lee Ray I dunno.
But watch her face...

Check it out man. There's definitely a realization and slight look of disgust on her face. As though she suspects somebody to be playing a practical joke

Well there is that deleted scene in which Charles Lee Ray gives Sarah's husband a ride... nice car too... and when Sarah's husband called him Charles, he states "My friends call me Chucky"
So her disgust could come from the fact that the doll happened to have the name "Chucky" Of course it didn't help that she was painting sunflowers... which makes no sense. Unless if that was her way of conquring her fear and gaining empowerment. Art theropy type of thing. It is possible that she new of the Urban Legend that Chucky is... but I am leaning more towards personal disgust in the name association.

Na it wasn't much, I wouldn't say I went crazy over it, but there was just a slight reaction when he said his name

It was slight but you can tell she looked a little disgusted. I mean... why throw away a perfectly fine doll. If someone sent me a Good Guy in that nice of condition I would throw it on ebay and slap an insane price on it.
Seriously, the Medicom, Dreamrush, and Sideshow dolls go for ridiculous prices. Imagine what a Play Pals doll would go for. Instead she threw it in the garbage. Nica herself should have stabbed her in the gut with a pair of scissors for that act.
