So it's revealed why chucky is running from the cops due to the fact that chucky was obsessed with Nica's mother.Some people don't like this explanation but for me it's cool but odd how he wants a family but then wants to kill his family.

It always seems as if they were robbing some place or trying to kill someone because Eddie was on the street waiting for Chucky. Why would he be waiting for him if he was seeing Nica's mom, especially since we saw Chucky with his own car earlier on.

Yeah, it seemed like Eddie was always some sort of getaway driver or something. Maybe after Chucky stabbed Sarah, we was smart enough to realize he can't use his own car, and called Eddie for a ride.

For some reason, I always used to think it was some drug deal that went bad and that's what led to Chucky's death. Of course to mnake room for Eddie, we have to assume that some time had passed. Part of me wants to think that maybe Chucky told Eddie "Stop here... I have something I need to take care of" and BAM... he got busted"
