Just thinking about it. Of all the films we'll all have our favourite scene where Chucky's finally brought back to life, ready to wreak havoc once more.
But when you sit and think, there have only been four, less if you refuse to count the poorly executed ones in CP2 and Seed.
CP1 - Obviously, no resurrection.
CP2 - Cleaned him up, new eyes, back to life with no explanation whatsoever.
CP3 - Nice bit of continuity, plausible method of resurrection.
Bride - Tiffany uses original and spare parts, says the chant, he's back.
Seed - Glenn says the chant on the back of the amulet, they're back in completely new bodies, with instant human organs. Wtf?
Curse - No resurrection.
So really, the resurrections, IMO, aren't that big a deal. We either don't get one, or we get a weak one, barring CP3
What do the rest of you think?

Probably CP3, then CP2, because they don't result in a stitched look. Now if we are throwing out continuity and plausability, and just going on the scene itself, tuen CP2. I kind of liked seeing him rebuilt.

Believe it or not I liked Bride's the best. It felt atmospheric. I also like how it panned across old newspaper clippings and showed close upshots. Then it ended of with Tiffany looking like she was ready to commit some sin. Then we see Chucky standing there and I kinda got that same feeling when Triple H's music would kick in and Jim Ross would say "Business is about to pick up folks" You knew you were in for a real treat. I liked CP3's visually and CP2's was kinda cool because we see his charred head get cleaned and the reconstruction was kind of fun but Bride's just some flair to it that was nice. Seeds was weak and Curse finally went down the route of just having no explanation at all like other slashers eventually do.

T'is true that it had an eery quality to it, seeing the charred doll all fixed up whilst a limo with blacked out windows made it's way to the Play Pals factory. The music gave me a shiver too. Lol

That was my big gripe with Curse originally. No explanation, not even in the many flashbacks

Yeah, it was pretty weak. I mean we kjow Don doesn't like the voodoo stuff, but still. I just assume Tiffany did it.

Yeah, but why after the way they parted in Seed, would she do that? They were at war when that film finished

Just anothee plothole I reckon. I just figure Tiffany is always gonna bow down to Chucky. She may be cheesed at him time to time, but as you can see in Bride, she pretty much worships him. She's also crazy, so I factor that in.

Child's Play 3 had the best resurrection. Some people ask how could he have been resurrected after being melted and blown up. Well, his body had been destroyed but his heart was not. So as long as his heart was uninjured, the body could still bleed. The resurrection in CP3 makes a lot of sense to me. His head screaming has always given me the creeps. I remember seeing CP2 and CP3 on USA network throughout the 90's and I was just a little kid when I first saw them and they scared the crap out of me at first but when I got older,I became less scared and appreciated them. But the opening of CP3 is in my opinion the scariest moment of the entire series.
