Well if you want to write your own. I have been penning a few ideas for a serious musical. Something akin to "Phantom of the Opera"
My only problem is that all my ideas center around CP1... I feel Bride would give a better opportunity to showcase female vocal talents but CP1 has that dark tone that gets my creative juices flowing.

Meh you can pull the whole "pathetic single mom not making enough money to make her son happy" thing off just like they did in Willy Wonka.

Actually I was going to give her a more empowering peace. Also I don't find her character pathetic... just fallen prey to bad circumstance. Aside from having the inability to buy her son a $100 doll... she doesn't do too bad at maintaining a household.
I give people like her a lot of credit because I myself have played both provider and homemaker at different times in my life and neither is an easy task. She does both.

Obviously took my post too seriously, but yeah. She is a pretty empowered character and was able to supply Andy with that kick ass winter coat.

I didn't mean too come off serious... I just feel that pathetic isn't the right word I guess.

Lol, I know, it was a joke. I don't really think she's pathetic. But she wasn't that smart because as soon as Chucky did the alligator death roll under the couch, that would have been it for me.

You know what... I think it's because of scenes like that now make it so that writers and directors strive to make more realistic situations... but I also like the naivety of 80's movies.
Almost as if to say that she perhaps knows she should have ended it there... but the curiosity was out weighing normal logic. Lol.

I know what you meant... what I was saying is that her naivety kept the movie rolling. I mean... I probably would have thrown the doll straight into the garbage after walking out of that police station out of disgust. Lol.
As far as how this would be incorporated into a Musical... well I Chucky coming to life will be in the form of breaking out into song.

Still thinking this would either be like the sad clown opera, or like the music video to Meatloaf's "I'd Do Anything For Love".

I am still working on getting a music recording program so I can upload the song I wrote for this. I am in the midst of coming up with ideas for the factory scene.
Anyway... I mention the song "I'm Free (Heaven Helps the Man)" by Kenny Loggins in another thread and I thought it would be funny if this song was used. Of course changing up a few lyrics to accommodate the Chucky theme but since most of the Tiffany like to think that Chucky has this undying love for Tiffany... well it would be funny if Chucky broke out into this tune and sung it to her when they were in the van whilst Jesse and Jade were getting married. Lol.
