Since this was the only section to not have a thread yet I'd figure I'd do the honors.
Now what the title means is that we've all seen how Chucky gets ressurected in this film but we've also read a couple of different versions of how he comes back this time around. I think this was the only Chucky movie to have a few different interpretations of this sequence whether if it became public knowledge or not.
1. The Final Product. We saw how it goes down in CP3... visually cool, and has a creepy factor when his unfinished head screams.
2. The Comic Version. A rat bites his remains and blood leaks out and goes through pipes which leads to a Good Guy doll.
3. Rumors on Original Script Ideas. 2 kids break into the Good Guy factory. Messing around they come across Chucky's remains. One of the kids sees part off his blown up face and it snaps at her. This causes them to run into controls which turn on machines and Chucky gets ressurected this way.
Which do you like or better yet... How would you have done it?
I liked what we got in the end as it is visually stunning, but I also felt there was a certain feeling missing from it and I cannot quite place my finger on it. I like the idea of his parts still being alive because to me that seems really creepy... almost like he is trapped in Purgatory. I also like the idea of his blood seeping into a new doll then seeing that doll start to twitch and jerk... I know I've read this part somewhere... again... creppy.
Overall, what are your thoughts?

When I finish the CP3 novel, I'll point out some of the differences. One of the main ones is obviously the opening. The movie opening was good for a movie, but it wouldn't have fit well with the novel.
In the novel it is the scene involving the rat biting his remains.
But yeah, as I said, I think the one we got in the film was good for just the film. It was very creepy and dark. I would have liked to seen the other 2 options acted out though, at least in some deleted scenes. The rat scene would have some potential, especially how it was portrayed in the novel.

It probably would have been very hard to pull off back then because they shot things physically like his ressurection being melting wax shot in reverse and at different angles.
But what could have been cool is to see the rat bite Chucky's body, and then we follow where the blood flows during the credits. Close up shots of pipes and whatnot. Then the final shot of this blood flow scene would be us seeing it leak out over a Good Guy dolls mouth. It's be visually cooler if it was shot from the blood's POV for this part.

Yeah, in the novel I couldn't believe how detailed and drawn out the rat scene was. It did some development on the rat and how hungry it was, lurking around the factory and whatnot.
The kids in the factory scene could be good too if done right and shot with some ominous music.

Yeah that rat one was pretty cool, in the novel they just go into so much detail it's like the rat has a character.

Maybe that should be a fanfic spin off... "The Good Guy Factory Rat" it could be short stories that about all the things the Rat has seen going on at Play Pals over the years. Everything from office scandals to the night the factory was shut down.

Yeah the novel made it seem like the rat was the only living thing that was in that factory and it was like a barren wasteland.

I don't think the rat would have been good for the movie but it is perfect for the novel. But I would have liked to have seen the version where the kids sneak into the factory. That combined with what we did get would have made the opening more awesome than it already is.

The rat wouldn't have been good based on how Spanky is describing it. Hard to convey all the rat's emotions like that into a movie. Lol.
Again I think it would have been cool to see the rat bite him open and then we see leaking blood come out and the scene would follow where the blood flow goes.
I do like the idea of the kids being in the factory because that scene where a part of Chucky's head snaps at the girl sounds cool and creepy.
Makes you wonder if he even died between each sequel or was stuck having to be trapped and motionless until another opportunity came along.

Well in the novel the blood trickles onto a ball, eyeless, Good Guy head and then it moves. From the sounds of it, it's kind of like Chucky is in some sort of purgatory when he "dies", like he was asleep.

It's weird that you say eyeless... did the novel explain how he acquired eyes.
I wonder if they had made plans for such a thing, or it could be coinicidence but among many of the other inconsistencies with this franchise is that in CP3 his eyes looked human whenever he was in "alive" mode. I have to wonder if this was done on purpose for this story or not. Then again... it could be something as simple as the puppet being made one way whilst the Good Guy doll props are made another with the more doll like eyes.

Well I assume the head is just one waiting to move along the assembly line to get the rest of the parts attached to it. It kind of resembled the deleted scene seen in the TV version at the end of CP2, where that head grins at the camera.

Ah... that makes sense.
Well in the end I am glad with what we got... I guess I am just starving for a good ressurection sequence since Seed's was weak, and Curse didn't have one at all.

Yeah, I watched CP3 last night, and while the swirling red into a circle makes me think James Bond right away, it's still a pretty solid intro, very creepy.
