Only film that exists is freddy vs jason and I love that movie.overtime chucky vs leprechaun was teased.that wouldn't work, that would be horrible and predictable.don even talked about that and even thought about freddy vs chucky.

To me it would be uneaven or not fare because of the size of chucky.

Don't let his height fool you. It's unspoken but it's always been assumed that he still had the full strength that he had as a man.
Also Chucky can play psychological games with an opponent too. Of course this works better for unsuspecting victims. Personally I think Freddy would have too many advantages because he can manipulate him through dreams.... although Chucky does have voodoo on his side.
I always felt Michael Myers was better suited since he can play the role of the powerful, strong, silent killer that Jason was to Freddy. Chucky can be the guy to mess with his head and make jokes just as Freddy did to Jason.
Of course you can't make it an all out gore fight because both characters are more mortal then Freddy or Jason is. Michael Myers has been through some serious shit but it is stuff a human can survive. The one time he was killed in a way that made it seem like there was no coming back (beheaded) it turned out that it wasn't him.
Chucky can comeback from anything... but he can be killed for the time being by mortal means. Also I know of a way the stories can intertwine with one another.

I started a thread about thos not too long ago, but I think Chucky would only fair well in certain situations.
I mean I just cannot say he'd win simply because I am a fan, but like the factor with Leprechaun is does he have his gold or not. With Freddy, os he in the dream world or not? Those pretty much dictate the battle for me. As for him fighting tje bigger dudes, it revolves around whether said big dude can actually get their hands on Chucky.

I can't think of a horror icon that would be an even match against Chucky. Chucky can be easily killed, the only real advantage he has is being a doll so no one expects him to be alive.

Again... this is why I say Michael Myers. He is just a little over supernatural like Chucky. NTM the fact that both guys come from Illinois.

Yeah, plus Chucky never had to go toe to toe with Donald Pleasence.

Maybe he did. We don't know if Charles Lee Ray ever did a stint at Smith's Grove Sanitarium. Of course Chucky being able to talk and sound like a logical person could get himself released eventually as opposed to a young child who wouldn't speak a word.
Keep in mind that Chucky is older than Michael.

Yeah, but Chucky seems like he wouldn't waste his time in a joint like that. I see him as more of a brothel man myself.

No... but he could have been there involuntarily. I know there is a CP2 novel that explains his childhood but do we really know how far back his craziness stems.
Michael was put there when he was 6. If we were to use Brad's actual age he would have only been 13 when Michael killed his sister in 1963. So it's not too far fetched to think that Chucky could have spent a few weeks there during his teen years.

Well the novel kind of squashed that, at least for him being there in his teens. He was pretty much an adult in the flashbacks in the novels. Now it doesn't say his age, but it definitely gives off the feel of him being a 16 / 17 year old kid when he makes his first kill, which is his mom. But then who knows? Maybe he pulled a Patch Adams or something.

He could have been in there for harming small animals or because he was beeing abused. Or his mother could have thrown him in there for no reason and they let him go after evaluating him which this could have made him go even more crazy. Either way... I am sure a clever background story could be had and I think Michael is the best pick IMHO.

Well he definitely doesn't come across as the type who torture animals. The novel just makes it seem like he bit his tongue and took it up until one night then he choked his mom out and that was kind of the start. But yeah, I'd like to see him go against Michael Myers.

Don't get me wrong... I have my biased reasons but I also can't think of anyone else who is down to his level in supernatural abilities, (both are more grounded) and I cant think of anyone worthy enough.
Anyone else would either be too powerful of an opponent or too obscure. I know Chucky is now in straight to DVD territory but I still consider him to be at a higher calibre than Leprechaun.
