It would be cool if this happen again.Back in 2012,curse begin filming and then don decided to release it halloween 2013.but that changed to an earlier release.i just think it would be cool if "part 7" begins filming later this year and be out around halloween like curse. Who knows??? I pray universal makes the right decision.

It might feel rushed though. I agree with a Halloween release, it's fitting, but lets not turn Chucky into a "flavor of the year" like Call of Duty is to video games.

Yea but I just don't want to rush don but at the same time brad's getting older,I love brad but I don't see him still being a actor for another 10 to 20 years, maybe wants to retire at some point.no matter what he's always going to be chucky,it' would be great to jump on to the huge praise curse has received from fans and critics.

Not to diss Brad in any way, shape or form, but he's not what one would call a very...busy..actor. His projects are very minimal, especially over the last 10 years. I think Brad knows that he's known for Chucky, and is always able to devote himself to a Chucky film. Brad has often said that recording Chucky's voice is minimal studio work, and does not exceed a few weeks..though it is a strain on his voice.
Considering Brad's schedule nowadays, I just don't see him feeling Chucky is a huge job more than a fun gig.
I'm not saying Brad doesn't have a life or doesn't do anything else, but if we compare him to actor's in their later years such as Morgan Freeman and how much he still does, Brad Dourif's work is minimal.

Well I thought I heard Brad did all his recording for Curse in one day? I don't know if that includes the flashback scenes or just his voice work, but if just voice, I can believe it. But yeah they can still work around the aging via digital touch ups if they have the time / money.

I don't think any good actor "retires" because the demands aren't like a real job. Me too, not looking to diss Brad, but he probably makes a good sustainable living just by doing a handful of movies in a given year if that much. Yeah, he isn't as busy as someone like Morgan Freeman, but that could also be his prerogative. I mean he can work on a lower budget film for a few weeks, take a few months off, and then do another one, and then take that to the bank.
So to say he'll retire at some point... I doubt it and the same goes for other actors who seem to constantly show up in movies. It's not like a grueling job that you have to show up for day in and day out until your body and mind need to not do it anymore.
Now as far as the franchise goes... I think it would be wise to not wait so long but it's never a good idea to overdue it either.
