I had hinestly thought that this was more or less going to be CP4 when I first heard about this. Like them rebooting it from CP3 forward.

I figured that they could have included Tiffany as an outside accomplice but not make her into a doll.

I am overall glad they made it a direct sequel because you can't unseen Bride and Seed and those films have their merits and their loyal fans.

Of course thinking it was after CP3 it got me thinking all kinds of stuff. Like maybe Tiffany was helping him all along... I mean who else sent him to Kent to get Andy. Then after this maybe it took her a long time to get him back like maybe she got arrested.

Call me crazy but wasn't there one report that said "picking up after the events of CP3" I remember seeing that somewhere so this is why I started thinking of all these weird scenerios.

Then, of course there were those thinking it was a prequel to Bride. I eventually started thinking this and figured maybe this is why his remains at the begining of Bride didn't look as messed up as they should have. Lol.

In the end I am happy with what we got. I still would have loved to have seen a resurrection sequence or at least an explanation of.

Yeah it was strange in CP3 how he mailed himself, all wrapped and whatnot. I kind of figured maybe he just forged some note as Sullivan asking Petzold to mail it.

Chucky mentioned the Tilly's and Kincaid's, so I believe it takes place after seed.
