From what I read in the novels it's kind of like he's asleep or something, or like a coma.

Purgatory perhaps. Of course they let go of what CP1 established... shoot him through the heart. Part of me thinks that unless it's really like that then maybe we was stuck there... frozen in one place for 8 years.

Well in the CP3 novel he like thinks to himself and whatnot like "How long has it been?" and he slowly remembers how to move.

He was kind of like in purgatory after CP2. His body was destroyed but his heart was still intact. Like when he gets shot at the end of Bride,it's very possible at least one of the bullets got him in the heart and in Seed,he isn't dead because his heart wasn't injured. So after CP2,I say that his soul might have still been in that mound of melted plastic and when his unfinished head screams at the opening of CP3,he is getting sick and tired of being inside a doll body which I think explains why he is much more violent, dark and meaner in CP3 than he was in the first two. It had been 8 years since CP2 and nearly 10 years since CP1. He decided that he wasn't going to fuck around anymore. I'm sorry if it looks like I rambled on.

By all means... ramble all you want.
I am notorious for making lengthy posts and even in PMs... nothing wrong with having a deep thought on something. Plus sometimes a few words isn't enough so you're in good company.
I can't imagine being stuck like that... NTM the fact that one of the orignal opening concepts had a piece of his face snapping at a child... so not only would he be stuck but also scattered.
Although this does kind of go against the turning human aspect because wouldn't he starve? I mean he was technically fully human since he couldn't do a soul transfer to Andy. Or maybe all human aspects came to a hault since he is super natural and was mortally wounded. Him being stuck, but alive does explain why the blood was so fresh.

Yeah, I mean Bride goves him some very human attributes to say the least. He eats, drinks, among other things in that movie.

If Curse were going to go with the comedic style that Bride and more so Seed introduced, I thought for sure we would have been witness to seeing him take care of toilet needs.
If you thought seeing a doll jacking off was bad... imagine a doll making a little doll turd... We dodged a bullet right there.

Sorry to bump and old thread... yeah there is a cut in his overalls but the way he looks in Bride is only interpretative of the damage he sustained in CP3. By all rights he should have actually looked worse. Also if they were shooting for any accuracy the left side of his fave should have had a stitch pattern harken to a Phantom of the Opera type mask. At least that's how his face looked after that big grim reaper sliced part of his face off with that sythe.
You're probably right about a blade hitting his heart... although I did write a kid version of CP4 when I was in 7th grade where his upper body managed to fly out of the fan. From there he put his soul into a Good Guy doll that was being given out as one of those damn near impossible to win carnival prizes. Lol.

Lol, that wouldn't have been a half bad continuation from the events of CP3, Doctor. I mean I find it extremely believable that there would have been other Good Guy Dolls at that carnival somehow, whether they are prizes, or it's another kid's.
