Not while the series is still alive. When the series is over, and a good amount of time has passed, then maybe.
Of course with this new generation of kids, a remake would probably consist of nothing hut Chucky taking selfies and listening to dubstep.

I say they need to wait for a whole generation to die off in order to make it fresh and new again.

I remember reading a lot of rumours saying that Curse was going to just be a remake of Child's Play....which made no sense to me lol

Curse I would sort of say is a "remake" or a "reboot" it took the series back to it's root's and filled in some plot holes"Also added some new ones" but as for the question at hand, if they ever did a full on reboot of this series I hope they change it up a lot and use some of the ideas they had planned when they first started off.

It is definatly a reboot from the comedy rode that the chucky franchise was going. It made lots of changes in peoples point of view as chucky being funny and like a friendly doll that is playing a role of a killer. But now (in brads words) a very sick and sinister doll), Which we want him to be.

Yeah, I think a reboot was a good idea for now seeing there is still life in the franchise. It had to do a lot of work to get back where it was, but it did.

After Seed of Chucky I was hoping for a reboot rather than a sequel but Curse of Chucky is now my favorite sequel. As long as Mancini sticks to making the movies more like Curse then I don't think we need a reboot.

A remake now wouldn't male sense. Curse was our reboot in many ways so I agree that it should continue from here.

Yeah, I say give it like at least 5 years after the franchise is dead and buried before remaking it.

Wouldn't be weird if they did a remake... then a year later Chucky 7 comes out.
I have never seen that done with a franchise before.

I don't know if legally the production companies would allow that to happen, let alone Don.

That would be wierd. I think a remake would have to take place after they wrap up the series. I dont know why but I keep thinking the 7 th is going to wrap up the series. I guess its because all the quesions that curse left us. Like ive said on poc, either something happens in one of the comming sequals that allows another person to do the voice, Or we will have a remake.
