I always loved Chucky's speech towards the end of the movie

Yeah a lot of people hate the "I am Chucky, the killer doll, and I dig it" line, but I figure if they are gonna go comedy and be silly, it's pretty fitting.

Most people hated this... I actually liked it. I figured that it was a testament of him embracing his destiny and identity as a doll and urban legend.
Also it kinda helped set up Curse in how effective he was as a killer, as a doll. It seemed like he was really enjoying himself and was much more skilled because of him embracing the fact that he is a doll. Granted we saw him trying to perform a chant on Alice which debunks his feelings... but Curse did all kinds of shit to screw with our heads.

I liked the speech, but I prefer the speech when he's talking to Tiffany about killing and how and I" quote "Is not something you should have to hide in the closet. Great line lol

This is actually one of the scenes in the movie that pisses me off every time I see it. I know I shouldn't take Seed too seriously but it was like they threw away a huge point of the movies in that one scene. Chucky's goal has always been to get out of the doll body and now suddenly he wants to stay in it? Like, what. It's hard for me to see the comedy in it, there's a lot of scenes in the movie that I think are funny even if they would normally annoy me because like I said Seed shouldn't be taken too seriously, but this one just grates on my nerves too much.

I loved that speech. What's not to love, Sweetface? You want a character to stay static an entire franchise? Heck, it was apparent in Curse of Chucky he had no qualms about getting out of his traditional Chucky doll body.
1-Wants out of body. 2-Wants out of body. 3-Wants out of body. 4-Wants out of body. 5-Wants out of body, and then doesn't and embraces the doll body.
It's cool. It was refreshing. I don't like Seed, but I commend Don for being ambitious and trying something new. And that speech was something I really enjoyed.
The closet speech was cool too. Although I wish we could've seen Chucky kill the people he hid in there.
