I've already seen the movie and i liked it so much. I love Don's view and directions for the franchise. You'll find many of his (horror) loves in CULT: from De Palma - split screen comes back here - to Argento, from the Cuckoo's Nest to Inception, very stylized, with cold photography and some bizarre ideas. Many fans aren't happy about this new flick, maybe for the drastic end, or for the come back of some comedic tone in some scenes. CP2 is full of very gross lines, and you'll find something cool in this one too. The main idea of CULT comes from another script idea, if i remember well, never seen on screen and if you're a very hard Chucky fan you'll love it too. For me it's 7/10

I thought it was a step down from Curse, to be honest. I mean I enjoyed it, but it had a LOT going on, which I'll discuss in the spoilers section discussion if anyone starts one. I can't really fall into that "I love every Chucky <3 If you're a real Chucky fan you love them all no matter what" stuff. It was entertaining as hell, and a wild ride, but as for it "answering all questions" from Curse, it seemed to created twice as many when the movie was over.
Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, in my opinion, I'd say it's way better than Seed (which to be honest, isn't hard to do), but it fell short of Curse. I know CP3 gets thrown out there as one of the lesser liked Chucky movies, but I still hold any of the original trilogy above the rest, with Curse coming close.

It was okay.
I guess I just had my hopes up and was just kind of let down by it. It was better than Seed, and did have a lot of funny parts, but I guess I just feel that it didn’t take itself as seriously as Curse did.
Also I hate to say it, but Jennifer Tilly was terrible.

Spanky i think Don isn't interested to explain answers like the CULT and other 'misteries'. I love the movie but it's true, this one is very different from Curse, less darker in the middle and fast for some points.

See, that's kind of lame to me, to be honest. Like it's kind of a cop out to leave plot holes and call it a "mystery", lol.

I really enjoyed it,although I wish we had more scenes with Andy though. I don’t think it’s a good idea for this series to have so many sequels, but I really hope we get a eighth film that focuses more on Andy. Some of the strengths of the film for me were Nica’s hallucinations and Brad sounds awesome as always, and seeing more of Andy again was fantastic. I felt this was better than curse, but not topping the original trilogy.
