That's crazy if true. Seems like no time in between home release and TV/Netflix

I read about this earlier today. Some people are mad who bought the DVD after finding out they could just stream it lol

IDC, I pre-ordered the Blu-Ray through Amazon as I still want a hard copy for my collection.
However, I am wondering why we can't stream it now through a paid service.
When Curse came out I remember ppl being able to buy a digital copy 2 weeks before the DVD/Blu-Ray Release.
How come this time we're not getting that option?
Also I am going away on a business trip that week so I won't be able to see it until October 6th. Which is fine, it's actually a family event in my home, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that I won't rent or buy a digital copy to view it sooner. Like I did last time, lol.

So with rumours swirling that Netflix paid $50 million for Cloverfield Paradox I guess that for something like Cult of Chucky they paid no more than $5 million.
Even if its lower than this - say $2 million it instantly adds profit for no extra outlay.

I'm not sure, Cult only grossed $1.8 million in DVD/Blu-ray sales as of October 2017, and it's kind of a smaller following than most films.

I think the thing with the Chucky films at the moment is they most probably make more money from the merchandise which is why they are happy to keep making films.
