Fellow Chucksters,
While news for Chucky 7 is pretty scarce right now, as it nears it will pour in. As new information comes in everyday, please use your due diligence for keeping any potential spoilers in the spoiler section I have created on this board. The main section will be for discussion about the movie after it's release, as well as any theories or ideas that you have for the next film. But when it comes to any "inside information" or what have you, please keep it in the spoiler section, and be a little discreet in the title.
Here's a simple example:
Let's say there was a spoiler that regards Chucky being stitched or unstitched. Even though you are posting in the spoiler section, do not make the title something obvious like "Chucky is stitched" or "Chucky is unstitched". A more appropriate name for the thread would be along the lines of "Chucky's Look"
If you are having trouble trying to figure out how to go about this, please message me and I will be glad to help.
Now that we covered that, I don't think it is necessary for us to use spoiler tags as long as we follow what I have stated above. Everyone here has free will and can choose whether or not to venture into the spoiler section and which threads to go into and which threads to avoid. I think spoiler tags would be redundant, and they'd also be forgotten. I think that if we keep it in the spoiler section, and keep the titles relevant, but not to revealing, then everything should be fine regarding spoilers.
Please keep this in mind when posting potential spoilers in the future.
Thanks friends, Spanky

It's so simple but it's amazing how many people just can't grasp it.

Yup, time will tell though, and if we have to, I will institute spoiler tags.

I think I'd honestly prefer spoiler tags. At least ones not pertaining to the spoiler labeled in the thread title. You know? Like if I'm in a thread titled "Chucky's look" then I may not want other things spoiled for me. Does that make sense? Obviously it's a totally unnecessary discussion at this point, but, I'm just letting my thoughts on the subject be known.

Yeah I understand, it's just with allowing spoilers, it'll become extremely hard to be able to pick and choose at some point. It's just a little easier to govern if we try to keep it black and white, either no spoilers, or all spoilers are fair game, like that. It sucks We'll see over time. I'd like to see us able to handle it without spoiler tags, but if it gets out of hand, we'll have to implement them.

Well then Spanky... I guess you're the man who gets to be in the barrel. Seriously though like you, and if there are other who do not mind spoilers, then I say they should keep an eye on this area. I know I took one for the team over at PoC... which if I knew then what I knew now I wouldn't have... lol. Should there be another film I would like to not know about it ahead of time. Even though I get curious.

Yeah, spoilers aren't a problem for me, but I still am going to respect the preferences of others in case they don't want to read them. So lurking around the spoiler section isn't an issue for me.
My problem with spoiler tags is soon people don't know whether to use them or not, then they might actually become overused where people are spoiler-tagging their ideas just to be safe. That's why I figure We should just try to keep it binary - if it is an idea, thought, theory, reaction, review or the like, it goes in the overall Chucky 7 section. And if it contains any information about the movie beforehand, to the spoiler section it goes.
