Two Dolls Theory

Okay so as most of us know, the COC trailer showed us a scene where there were two Dolls.

I am curious to hear some of your theories on this, here are mine.

1. This one is simple. Two Dolls for therapy sessions. One is Chucky one is just a Good Guy. Also would make a great plot device if Chucky got badly injured, he has a spare body now. This would be cool to see in a Chucky movie.

2. The Dr is obsessed with the doll murders and believes them to be real. He purposely made it a point to get Nica at this Asylum so he can find out more.

He has a doll, but who is to say he doesn't have a few lying around at home.

His goal is to have Chucky teach him how to escape death so this way he can escape it too. He himself could have learned some of the voodoo to resurrect Chucky, or maybe found Tiffany and paid her to do it.

Maybe Chucky puts his soul in the other doll, maybe he kills him. Maybe Chucky plans on using the other doll as a vessel for Andy.

Maybe Andy is near his death and transfers his soul into the other doll to fight Chucky at his own level. Wrong doll gets killed, etc.

Anything is possible, but I'd more line up with the first theory. The second one seems interesting, especially given the title of the movie, but I feel like it's be a lot given the runtime of the movie and what we've already seen.

Yeah, my second theory is basically the plot to Hellraiser 2. Lol.

I think it would be cool to see Chucky's Denise and resurrection mid film. Never been done before, and this would also buy him time if he is turing human.

Like, maybe we'll see blood from one doll and none from the other because of how fresh it is.

Would also fill the plot hole if no blood from Curse. Just saying.

There is a picture with a chucky hand on a good guys head as it would be for a soul switching scene so somethings happening.
