Chucky's weird hand.

The article above posted a pic of Chucky, from the "Cult of Chucky" trailer of what appears to be his right hand looking all weird and demon like.

Some are speculating it's him turning human, others think it's ppl hallucinating, some think it melted which is the direction I am leaning towards.

I must say bravo to the makers of the trailer.

I believe it was Spanky who said that franchises with as many movies as the Child's Play series has, they start becoming predictable after a while.

Well I can't make heads or tails out of what this movie is going to do. Also, this may not be considered a spoiler since it was in the trailer, which means they want it to be seen. Same with the Good Guy doll that has another dolls hand on it's forehead, like a soul transfer, and same with the image of Chucky having a missing non-bloody arm.

I really hope there aren't really cool scenes that are dream sequences.

Sorry for the tangent, just so many thoughts at once. Got the Chucky fever. Lol.

Plot twist: the movie takes place in outer space, hence Chucky's new alien hand.

Yeah, they got me stumped for the most part. It does look like some type of creature rather than burning, human, etc. One dude posted a theory how it's turning human, so he removes his arm (as seen in the one picture with the drill) and then he transfers into the other doll to buy more time.

I want to lean toward dreaming and hallucinations because wasn't it said this movie would be influenced by "Nightmare on Elm Street" and "Inception"? If so, that pretty much gives this movie a free pass to do whatever it wants, especially if it uses dream sequences and powerful anti-psychotic medication.

Another person mentioned the melting and referred to the trailer where Andy was using the blow torch, so maybe that's related, even though I have my doubts on that.

I'm just hoping the entire movie doesn't occur then it's revealed that it's all in someone's head, like Nica's.

I thought of the melting part being plausible but not by blow torch. His had would look way worse. If anything it more look like it was steamed and started to stretch.

Imagine if this is one of those things that does not appear in the movie at all. Trailers will do that, but usually the bigger box office trailers will do stuff like that. I don't see a lower budget straight to video movie being that elaborate.

Like you said Spanky, I hope this isn't one of those "took place in the mind" movies. There were 2 or 3 Hellraiser films that played with that kind of theme and it fell flat. I really don't want to see Chucky enter that arena.

I am not against mild sequences like that women who thinks Chucky is her baby. Maybe she sees a toddler but it's really Chucky. That I am not against.
