Why is Glen/Glenda ginger?

Clearly I have no life but, last night I couldn't fall asleep and was reading posts on here and Chucky Nation, and with the rumours going around that at least "Glenda" is making a grand return in Cult, came the age old question....

Just because they're dolls, would Chucky and Tiffany not still have the same DNA? And if they did, would the chances of brunette children not be more likely?

Or is it that when they left their bodies they biologically became the dolls as well?

I don't know. Clearly I'm thinking too much about it haha. Any thoughts?

Doll or not, Tiffany dyes her hair. Lol.

Part of me thinks that Chucky is so far removed from the man he used to be that he is the doll now.

Then again in Bride he had finger prints which matched the human he once was.

So maybe the human DNA is more prominent.

I'm just guessing their DNA changes to the doll essentially, at least in terms of hair, eye color etc.

As for why it's like that in the movie, I am guessing to just have the "tie" to them being Chucky's kids. Tiffany is alive and well in Jennifer Tilly's body, so we don't need anything like that from her, but Chucky is "dead", and one of his most notable traits is his hair color, so they just made the kids red headed to really stamp home that they were his kids.

I mean I guess it kind of makes sense? Like when Glen/Glenda was conceived, Chucky was a doll with red hair, so that's like his DNA now, otherwise you'd see him growing darker hair as time progresses (which I guess hair growth isn't part of the voodoo possession thing).

I wish that was like real life....you would only need a hair cut once in your life and it would always look as good as the first day you got it.
