I wish he would look like this through the whole movie. The doll looks great here. He looks super weird in some shots.

I do not think the two dolls are alive, one of them is Chucky and the other is a simple doll like Tommy of Child's play 2.
The scene where we see a hand resembling that of Chucky on the frond of the other doll I think Chucky is about to die and it transfers into the second doll to survive!
What I do not understand is that in some parts of the trailer it has different face a bit as if the director wanted to hide something ...

That's a very good point, and I think out of everything people have theorized, I like that the best. It would give the movie a second wind.

The only different thing in his face in my opinion is the mouth: lips are very dfferent from the classic Chucky. Isn't really a problem for me, sincerely i like to see different and modified version over time, it's the same thing with Jason, Freddy and horror horror icons, but mouth is very different since Tony Gardner took the special FX.

I'd be surprised if Stanton ended up surviving. I'm assuming he's playing either a different character or maybe a relative of Stanton's.

With seeing the trailer I then thought short haired Chucky was fake but those tiles in the back do look like the room Andy is in.

Forgot about that pic of Chucky. Maybe takes place later on in the movie.

I honestly didn't think I was going to get as hyped to see this one, but I can't wait.

I remember Don saying the next movie was going to take place in that 6 month time gap between the ending and post credit scene in Curse.

That doesn't look to be the case here so I am glad about that.

I am also going to go on a limb here and say we won't be seeing a stitched Chucky this time. Love it or not, it's harder from a writing standpoint to keep him going with that look.

I think that pic may be misleading also. I'm probably wrong, but maybe they have the hair like that because they need to do some sort of CGI for the rest because of the movement in the scene?

I have high hopes they'll give us a resurrection scene since they show Andy in the scene from that last movie.

Hell, they could start off the film where it went black in the post credit scene.

Also, still curious about Chucky's two different hair styles. First it looks perfectly combed, then in some shots it looks like he wet it Coca-Cola.

It could but the part that has me weirded out is the scene where he is walking towards the woman who thinks he's a baby.

In what appears to be the same scene, his hair looks like shit, then clean.

Then we have the two dolls thing on top of that. So who knows?

Guys, I'm in the Chucky spirit finally. I'm loving reading all these theories and am looking forward to the movie finally being out. I'm glad this movie is taking less than 8 years to happen...
