Wow, this looks good. I love Chucky's look in this. It's almost like they tried to shoot for a CP2 look. No evidence of digitally removed stitches. Two dolls. Is the other doll someone... New, someone we may already know *cough*cough* Andy! *cough* or maybe just a doll that's there like Tommy in CP2. Still, openly having two dolls is a bit weird. Either way, I like it and can't wait to see this movie.

Well as some people have noted around the web, no sight of Alice whatsoever. So I wonder if she has a part in Cult.

It came late but I am feelin' fever. Watched each trailer 3 times.
This Halloween is going to be epic.
BTW, 4 years since Curse. Felt like a couple months. Lol.

I'm just amazed at the quality of the doll compared to Curse. Like the movements seem better, and the difference between doll mode and alive isn't as extreme.

Someone on Chucky Nation pointed it out, but if you pause during that scene where there's a hand on the Good Guy Doll's head and it wakes up, the head looks like another Good Guy Doll, so the two dolls thing might be legit.
Then again, wasn't there talk about "dream sequences on acid" in this movie?

You know what I noticed about the doll on the front of the Blu-Ray cover...
He doesn't have gremlin proportions.
About damn time.

Just had a thought...
Maybe more than one doll is brought into the group therapy sessions.
Each of the patients gets to take one of the dolls, take turns with it.
The breast feeding clip is before she actually sees the doll alive (look how it is still in 'doll mode' when she tries feeding it) and is basically her therapy. There's the crib in her room also.
The bit where Chucky smashes the glass over the doctor's head, notice how he is kneeling in front of Nica when this happens. Then, shortly after that, we see the doctor laying unconscious on the floor, amongst the glass, but there is a Good Guy beside him... In 'doll mode'. If he's already revealed himself to the doctor then why revert back to that?
As for Officer Stanton (same actor and same character that was seemingly killed by Tiffany at the end of Curse) I would love to know how and why he is at the hospital as he is also taking part in the therapy sessions. But how is that possible if Tiffany cut his throat in Curse? and even if he did somehow survive, why would he have the reaction he does to Chucky?
Just a few things to mull over.

That Officer Stanton bit is strange. Maybe his parts somehow take place before his death in Curse. I don't know how it would work, so I guess we will have to see.

I thought that guy looked familiar. Is it offer Stanton, or is he playing a different character?

I'm still kind of reserving a complete judgement because of the descriptions of the movie that were said before the trailer came out. If I recall correctly, Don said something about it being like an acid-fueled dream. Not to mention you are in a mental hospital, probably stocked with some strong anti-psychotic drugs. I'm guess some of this stuff is a dream or drug-induced sequence.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those "It all took place in the mind" type of movies.
There were like two or three Hellraiser films that did that shit and it fell flat. Trying to give us an M. Night Shamalan twist but really felt like a waste of time.
Well regardless we don't know anything yet. Maybe Officer Stanton did survive. He could have called for help on his radio.
Lot of rumors going around that the other doll is Glen. Could work depending on how it's introduced.

I am also hoping, much to many people's dismay, that Chucky remains unstitched and doesn't do the same thing he did in Curse where he had his scars just covered. Chcuky has come back from being burnt, dismembers, and blown to bits, and into a fresh, clean doll. That's all the explanation needed for him to be unstitched. The Glen doll would be another hurdle that they would need to explain, because as of Seed, he was in a human body. And yeah Stanton could have survived, maybe Tiffany didn't fully cut his throat and get the jugular. At this point I am still thinking his scenes take place between the end of the trial and hit death in Curse. I mean didn't he get killed stealing the doll as evidence? The time frame between the end of the trial and that could be any amount of time. I just hope they don't do some twin brother thing, because technically, his name would still be "Officer Stanton", lol.
