Potential spoiler (probably wrong) on the IMDB page?

Posting this in the spoiler section just to be safe, but I am looking at the IMDB page of Chucky 7, and under the plot it says the following:





Now I believe an IMDB page can be edited by anyone (hence the "Edit" link in the upper right corner of the screenshot, or at the very least it can be edited by somebody, whether it's the common Joe Schmo, a premium member, or a film maker. So I am thinking this is probably just some false information, but it is somewhat plausible. I mean in Curse we saw those flashbacks, and what if there was more to that backstory - like Chucky and Sarah actually getting funky with each other and making Chucky the real father of Nica? It's a stretch, but would make for an interesting twist.


Also there was this under the trivia section:





Once again, be weary of the "Edit" link, meaning this could be false as well, if all 3 of those characters return, there will be a lot going on in Chucky 7.


Obviously this is all speculation and probably just internet fallacy , but it's something.

Yeah, that synopsis seems about right, lol. As far as the cast felt he's first film returning, yeah, I could see it happening. I'm just curious what the actual plot will be and where it will be set.

Well I can tell you the plot is wrong, haha. I mean Chucky doesn't have a daughter, I think some super fans get caught up in the fact that Fiona Dourif is Brad Dourif's daughter.

Would be interesting to see all those characters come back though, but yeah, I'm not trusting any information that doesn't come from Mancini himself. Seems like we'll have to settle for like, a few vague tweets every other year until we see a trailer.

Damn, didn't even catch that detail, lol. In that case, yeah, it's probably wrong. I mean, I'm pretty sure that Chucky 7 will have Chucky and Nica going at it once again, but I wouldn't want Nica to be Chucky's long lost daughter or illegitimate daughter or anything like that. It would just seem a bit too obvious and rather lazy, based on the casting.

I say why not make Nica Chucky's daughter.

They already changed history with Curse and I find it more unforgivable that they portrayed him as a whiny stalker.

Who knows... they could work it where Sarah had an affair with him but then she started witnessing just how weird he was and left it. Then months later, the BBQ party was mere coincidence.

Hell... part of Chucky's obsession could have stemmed from the fact that she was possibly carrying his child. Granted this would have been mentioned in Curse already and why would he try to kill his own daughter.

Of course if he didn't know, then that negates everything I mentioned above.

Maybe they should just reboot the franchise. I hate remakes but it got so stupid now. Or sequel it from where it got stupid erasing all the stupid shit. IDK.
