It'll be one year ago this Thursday that his first image was leaked. It was the unaltered pic of him sitting on Fiona's lap. She posted it on her instagram acount, and it was a pic of the soundtrack cd.
I was taken back for a brief second... but then excited as hell that he was going to be stitch free. Not knocking the stitched look, but the nostaligia was so intense. YOu can only live those moments once, but they are so worth living.

I remember my stepdad showing me and saying something along the lines of "This looks horrible, almost as bad as the other one that came out with that kid. And Chucky looks like a little fat kid" and I was offended lol

It seems like not that long ago we were all anxious and whiny about the trailer's release thanks to the leaked photos that made us bloodthirsty for more. But almost an entire year has gone by? Holy shit.
Ah, I remember that glorious July 9th day. Too excited to sleep the night before. Shaking with anticipation all morning and afternoon. Refreshing the POC page like 10 times per second to see if the trailer was finally posted. And last but not least losing control of myself almost throwing my laptop across the room out of pure excitement when it had finally arrived.
Man, I can't wait for us all to be able to go through that process again. Hopefully it won't be as painfully far away as ten years' time.

I agree with Cold Murder... let's hope it's not another 10 years. Brad might sound like a broken air conditioner by then. lol
Now to reminisce...
I will share this with you guys now that I can... obvously. I actually got to see an image of him in stitches before this trailer came out. I wasn't allowed to say anything, but I saw right away where they were covering it up.
It was funny reading the thoeries on this because they didn't cover it up that well, and ppl were talking. One of the theories was that he was wearing a "Good Guy" mask. I thought this was one of the most cocamainy things I have ever heard of... then we see the movie and find out that was the closest to the truth. lol. |

Yeah, the stitches disappointed, but at least the whole latex cover-up part of the story just kind of justified what a lot of us believe, that he needs to appear unstitched in order to really be creepy and hide in plain sight.

It's like Transformers. If he were a Decepticon is he isn't going to sneak up on a victim in robot mode?... No. He is going to drive up quitely disguised as a police car then strike at the right moment. Hence hiding in plain sight.
The stitched look raises too many red flags from the start. Especially if he is looking to set up a kid.
BTW... not to go off topic but speaking of Transformers... mainly to movies... anyone here ever notice how the Decepticons are all vehichles ppl trust (i.e. police, military, construction) Meanwhile the Autobots are all street illegal suped up cars and trucks. Either they don't understand our laws... or our laws are retarded. lol. |

As I was watching the trailer for the first time I felt... Scared.it hit me really strong because scenes with him pushing nica in the wheelchair actually freaked me out last cp 2 and 3 did.brilliant move by don to create a scene like that,very intense.

I remember I was so happy to see clean-faced Chucky. Everyone was also speculating that Nica was the daughter of Chucky during that time, which was definitely putting a more sinister feel to the trailer, especially as we seen him pushing her through the railing with the wheelchair.
