I keep having dreams where I see Chucky as a comic book character and sometimes even paired with other characters.
So this got me thinking if Chucky would make for a good anti-hero. He would still kill people... but in operations where a boy scout will get his hands too dirty.
One if the images I saw was Venom, Deadpool, and Chucky on an assault team. Also he makes a great decoy attacker... just saying.

I could see Chucky as an anti hero, I think the character could pull it off. But at the same time, he makes a great villain as well. So I'm sort of mixed on this. But I could see Chucky as an unlikely anti hero.

I could really only see it if it was a crossover film. Kind of like how they made Jason sort of one in "Freddy vs. Jason".

Yeah, like, I'd wouldn't really want him to be an anti-hero in the main series of films, but if it were for kind of crossover film or something like that, then it could work.

Yeah, like I remember reading some sort fanfic crossing over with Saw and how hI'm and Andy were trapped in a room but he had to save Andy. I figure only way Chucky would help out is if he had something to gain personally.

I was thinking more like he's being forced. Obviously he isn't the type to save a baby from a building that's on fire but if there were some personal gain or if his life depended on it in some way then I can see him playing ball.
Like if the government has him on a tight leash but he still gets to do what he does best. I mean seriously... he makes an I deal operative.
I agree about the crossover situation. Even in wrestling when two heels or two faces are in a match against eachother one has to assume the position of the face or the heel.
Depending on the cross over, Chucky could be the defacto "Good Guy" (no pun intended) if it's an opponent capable of greater evil. Again... Michael Myers will be my top pick. Of course in the "Hack/Slash" comic crossover he did take the role of a team player, but quickly turned as soon as the opportunity struck.
Again... not a full on good doer... but killing for the right cause.

Yeah, and sadly, even though we are all Chucky fans, in almost any crossover I could think of, Chucky would be the lesser evil and be the weaker in the duel. The only one I could think of that might be less is Ghsotface from "Scream".

That's true. I think in almost every situation he'd be the weaker one. His greatest attribute is cognitive thinking skills but the only ones I can see him out thinking would be Jason and Leatherface. Jason, or as you said the Scream ghost, would be a lesser evil than Chucky because Jason it probably doesn't register with him that what he is doing is evil, and the Scream Ghost is usually a rookie killer behind the mask.
Anyone else Chucky is pretty much put matched but it doesn't mean he couldn't win.

So long as he can sneak up on you and stuff like that. But if he was to enter Thunderdome, then he likely wouldn't leave.
