Yeah, like, I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit of a gore hound, lol. I love gore in horror and slasher movies. But in terms of the Chucky movies, it really doesn't need that much gore. Like, I don't think Chucky should ever pull a "Hatchet II" and have him graphically cut someone in half and pull their spine out of their flesh. That kind of gore works in stuff like the "Hatchet" series, but not so much for the Chucky series. The original "Halloween" worked very well despite there being little to no gore. Sort of the same thing with the first few Chucky movies, there wasn't really too much gore in those, with the exception of the Chucky torture scenes at the end of the first two. I think the 7th Chucky movie should have a good amount of gore, but as other people here said, it shouldn't be an extreme amount or overpower the story.

Well lest we not forget... it's Chucky. He's also very limited in what he can do. His stature alone gives him limited options. Which is why his efficient kills are ones that are quick and catch the victim by surprise.
I can't see him ripping someone in half or skinning someone alive for the simple fact that it would take a great deal of height and strength to do such. Yeah... Chucky is a strong little guy but his height puts him at a disadvantage.
I can see him setting up a death trap but again... that's not his style.

I don't really care about the gore. I would love to see flashback scenes of Charles Lee Ray's life. Like things they never mentioned in the films, and how he became a killer from being abused as a child.
