Does anybody know how Don Mancini approached the writing of each Chucky movie? Like did he write out the story in prose form and then translate it into scenes for a screenplay?

Does anybody know, or is Mancini's creative process classified information?

I have no idea really. I don't know who would know outside of those close to him.

I think the most popular method is to approach it with a set goal.
Beginning, key points and ending.
Then just a case of fleshing things out with characters and minor plot details.
Who knows though... Who knows...

Hate the word fleshing for some reason.
But I think in the beginning Chucky just started out as a story, then panned it into a screenplay. If that's the case for all the movies, I have no clue.

Fleshing...
Why you hate the word fleshing?
It isn't that bad... Fleshing.
Fle-shhhhhh-iiiiiiing...
Yeah, now I think about it, fleshing is a bit weird...

I always thought fleshing was the final stage of the Terminator building process.
