Do you think they will ever release a 1:1 scale un-stitched Chucky doll replica that says the same 'Good Guy' phrases?

It's definitely a possibility. I guess it would depend a lot on demand, if there's an audience that would truly want a replica like that. From what I've seen online, I think there are enough fans of the unstitched version to warrant a release. It would be a neat merch item for fans of the first few films.

No they won't. While there are plenty who want ot, I don't believe Mezco owns the rights to a 1:1 scale mold or something like that.

Mezco?
Anyway, I am sure if there are at least a few thousands fans of the original Child's Play trilogy that express interest they might at least consider it. Heck, I'd pay up to $100 for one...if it looks like the same quality materials that the dolls were made of in the movies. Enough time has gone by for a 1:1 Original Good Guy that even says phrases to be considered a vintage cinema collector classic.

Enough time has gone by for a 1:1 Original Good Guy that even says phrases to be considered a vintage cinema collector classic. www.mezcotoyz.com/They are the ones who released the most recent Chucky replicas/figured. According to a conversation with a member here who reached out to Mezco. Mezco does own the "license to go into the "prop grounds" and can only make off scale and stylized versions of Chucky". So pretty much that means no 1:1 versions (that would be scale), and no Good Guy dolls (that wouldn't be "stylized" if I am thinking correctly). So like the demand can be there, but they just don't have the legal right. The easier license for these companies to get often has to do with the "stylized" part, which is probably why we get so much merchandise that looks awful. As for if they did make one, that could talk, I wish I had the full skill set because that would be fun to program with some servo motors to move the head, but I have a feeling calibrating the sensors to trigger the speaking would be tricky to make it so the doll doesn't trigger at some random sounds during the night. Not fairly certain all of that would realistically be able to run off 2 D batteries for a reasonable duration.

Lol, that would be cool if random sounds at night triggered the speaking. About fifteen years ago, I had a talking 'Tommy Pickles' doll from the 'Rugrats' series that would be triggered by movement and would speak at random times during the night.
Perhaps, if whoever owns the complete rights to the Child's Play series could give the legal right to Mezco for a 1:1 Good Guy replica that's not "stylized" in anyway. According to the petition site over 4600 fans want one. I even signed the petition. I guess it talking is not completely necessary, but the 1:1 scale and 100% non-stylized is a must. A definite touchstone of cinema history.

Yeah but one thing I also stress with these replicas and that petition, lots of people think they can get one for like $35 and sign it. The likely cost of a replica would probably be in the $125-$150 range, and that's wishful thinking. If it's a functional good guy doll with sound and motors, then you're looking at $200+. So only a fraction of those 4600 people would actually pay that.

If it's a good guy replica... I'd gladly pay $200. If it were a CP2 mean faced Chucky replica... $500 would be my limit. I say they can make one for $300. My local FYE has a Gremlins Replica and an ET replica for about $300 a piece. Both of which have clothing.
A can see an accurate Chucky being a little more than that. Minus electronics... the same.
I would be happy to buy a replica locally for $400. Provided I have the $400.

Yeah, that's the thing. I am pretty sure a lot of the petition signers are kids, and I don't know if they could afford that realistically. I mean if we are talking legit replica, no stupid stuff done to it, pure Good Guy Doll, I would consider dropping up to $500 for one.

I personally feel they can make one for less than $500 but I know exactly what you mean.
Personally I would like a fair shake at buying on for $500. Usually when one gets made they're in limited supply and they're not sold by normal retailers. So those with the instant finds buy them... hang on to them, then resell them for an exorbitant amount of money.

Yeah, and I think in order for a company to mass produce, they'd need a good amount of guaranteed sales before they even start production.

I said before and I'll say it again. A golden opportunity was missed when Curse came out. That would have been the time when they should have pumped out some merchandise for Chucky. If not a replica... well at least other items.
I think anywhere from 2 months prior to a year after Curse's release would have been the time for companies to capitalize on the exposure. Albeit, the exposure was small but that did stop companies from making Sam products from that "Trick 'r Treat" movie and mind you that too was a straight to video film with no fan base.
