Now smngry and I were on Chucky Nation today, and we were discussing the look of Chucky in Bride. More specifically the accuracy of how his scars line up to how we saw him end up at the end of CP3, where half his face was chopped off. Here's Tiffany holding Chucky's remains in Bride: Now what the member of Chucky Nation was suggesting, since the point of the initial post was disputing how accurate his stitch locations are, thatwhat Tiffany is holding isn't Chucky's remains from CP3, mainly because everything looks too "in tact", considering he got chopped up into bits by that fan. The smash looks a little more smashed like... The remains of Tommy from CP2. Interesting, isn't it? Now we all know that it's not the implication of the beginning of Bride, and on the remains you can see blood, and the fact Tiffany needs to replace an eyeball and arm when rebuilding Chucky, and Tommy was fully in tact when Kyle pulled him from the dirt, only having the smashed face. But I mean it's interesting as hell and ponders a lot of "what if" thoughts in my mind, especially considering how well smngry has been doing with his "Ballad of Tiffany Valentine" fan fiction, showing Tiffany go behind the scenes of the events during the first few movies.

I actually had an idea for CP2.5. Similar to the Innovation Comic Books but where he ends up meeting a demise that ends up being his Bride Body.
Of course this would be on the premise of the alternate/deleted ending in CP2 where he is resurrected again.
Either way... I saw it's very plausible that Tiffany recovered some other body and not his actual CP3 body because none of those scars line up. Even the definitive partial face that got sliced off in CP3 doesn't line up.
Now whether if it's the "Tommy" doll is a whole different story. Not saying that isn't plausible, but then I'd like to think that Tiffany had to have something from Chucky to make his soul in particular come alive in that doll. The way she ressurected it makes us assume that Chucky was the last inhabitant of it. If not then she'd have to use like a lock of hair or something from Chucky to make that doll to soul connection.

Yeah, but that's where I figured the Heart of Damballa could come into play somehow. I mean Chucky was buried wearing it, and not much is known about it. Maybe Chucky was the "owner" of it somehow.

I'd like to think that the Heart Of Damballa amulet was something that was passed down from generation to generation, from teacher to protege as it were. I could see John giving it to Chucky as a gift.

I think it's plausible, but I feel he wouldn't be able to come back to life if it were in Tommy's body, also Chucky's bride body was made from multiple parts of Tiffany's doll collection. This theory is cool to ponder upon though, and may be more plausible than what we think

The Heart of Damballa... okay but I'm not following. Tiffany didn't have it when resurrecting Chucky after piecing him back together so I don't see how it's relevant.

I only wish I'd had this when I was actually doing the CP2 section of that story... Still, I suppose there's a cool way I could work this into what I have planned in chapter 3. In fact an idea is forming... Even yesterday I didn't think of this like that. But yeah, this is an interesting angle and it's been a while since we discussed something like this

Yeah I forgot Tiffany didn't have it, but then again maybe as you said she had a piece of him to do the ritual.
