I was just thinking about how Karen went about backing Andy up.
Now during the movie it worked out. She got Detective Norris on her side and even his partner by the end of the movie. You'd figure that with having two detectives in her corner that they'd come up with a way for her to not end up looking crazy. Of course she is going to have her son's back but at what cost?

So she pretty much tells Andy to not believe it all and pass it off as some like dream? It's possible.

Not so much to not believe it but explain to him how no one else will. Also throwing in a "They'll take you away from me" speech wouldn't hurt. As I said... she had two cops on her side. I know in CP2 they made it look like they ditched her to protect their own asses but it sounded like she was insistent on backing Andy's story.
If course it wouldn't have hurt to get a forensic team to examine the blood in her apartment. Although if Curse is any indicator... no one in the CP universe is going to thoroughly investigate the urban legends of a killer doll.

I made a similar thread in the CP2 board about this.
As far as I can see, if they'd have thrown the different bits of the doll in a river, then it would have been done.
Happy ever after

Not only that but she did have two cops on her side.
Then again maybe she chose to go to the loony bin. That Chriswell character seemed like a real asshole to be working for. Lol.
