Well guys with NY Toy Fare 2015 right around the corner Mezco once again gives us a preview of what to expect and with that... more Chucky merchandise. Take a look. news.toyark.com/2015/02/06/mezco-pre-toy-beetlejuice-bugs-bunny-gigantor-mez-itz-general-pics-149635Anyway, there could be more but I wouldn't expect more. We're now getting unstitched Chucky items so I won't complain. From what I can see here the only new thing's we're getting are: Unstitched version of a Living Dead Doll Chucky A Vinyl Stylized Unstitched Chucky And a Mez-Itz 3 pack with Chucky, Stitched Chucky, and Tiffany. I am definitely picking up the Mez-Itz. For those who don't know what these are they're like a hybrid of Lego and Vinyl characters. I have Hellboy Mez-Itz from 2004 and they were pretty solid. Last time I saw Mez-Itz of any kind was for the Dark Knight Rises and they looked more like miniature Vinyl characters but with articulation. Either way I'll buy them and apparently in a convenient 3 Pack. No love for Glen as it would seem.

Okay so after doing a little research... the Mez-Itz are now basically small Vinyls that have hot stamped details. Basically... picture a figurine being screen printed. Not saying it's a bad thing... but the old Mez-Itz used to be like bulky Lego guys with sculpted details. Like a life like head on a basic round body.
Not saying it's a bad thing at all... I'll gladly buy these bit I was super curious to see how Mezco would tackle making actual figure sculpts of Chucky, Stitched Chucky, and Tiffany.

Mezco finally told me why they won't make a life size doll. They would have to have a prop licence which they don't have.. so they are only allowed to make stylized versions of Chucky or off scale versions.. so there won't be a life size from them I deleted the messages so I can't back it up but you guys can obvs message them and they will tell you the same thing

Well technically, wouldn't making a life-size, well "almost life size" Chucky doll, but where the arms are half an inch shorter, legs half an inch longer, head with 2 more degrees curvature, stuff like that where we wouldn't notice.

Here are some close ups of some Chucky products we can be expecting to see this year. It'd be nice if they had actual physical products but unfortunately Chucky isn't a priorty since they also hold licenses for Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, and now adding Mortal Kombat, and Batman to the list. Still... it's better than nothing and I am sure we'll be picking up some of these items for our collections. Mez-Itz

The Mez-Itz and the stylized figures look pretty cool.

I feel the stylized version is too cartoony for me

The stylized figure actually kind of looks like the video game Chucky, lol.

About time we get some unstitched stuff. And we know Metal Matt, you don't mind the stitched version.

I still feel like they're missing a golden opportunity not making action figures. Okay they're not full scale items but it would be a good way to give us accurate products.
The Mega Scale dolls are nice, but Sideshow reissues really.
