Okay, so we know that despite the very small gap between CP2 and CP3, the time gap within the films was actually 8 years.
So I'm just curious really. I'm doing a Tiffany fan fiction right now and have mapped out some stuff that I think Tiffany was up to during the ten years Chucky and her were separated.
But what do you all think Andy got up to between CP2 and CP3?

Honestly, not much. He likely bounced from foster home to foster home never fitting in, being quiet, keeping to himself. I'd like to think maybe he kept a journal (hey, maybe a future fanfic idea, dunno if I'll run with it, but it's out there).

Yeah, Col. Cochran says in CP3 that he bounced around foster homes, so I assume he was just in several foster homes over the course of those 8 years.

Yeah, there must've been more though. I mean all those years between foster homes, then suddenly sent to military school? I always assumed there was more to that, like a reason the authorities sent him there. I dunno, maybe as he grew up he broke back into the factory and found Chucky was still there... Just think there could be some interesting stuff in that eight year gap.
And Spanky, go with that fan fic idea mate. I'm finding the gap between films has opened up a massive opportunity to tell a bigger story with tiffany, even though she wasn't involved in the first three films

Well I mean for all creative purposes, we want him to be some crazy, rebellious youth getting in trouble, but that doesn't seem the case. He probably tried to keep in touch with Kyle to some degree, maybe attend this or that appeal for Karen. But I mean he probably got sent to military school because he was "un-fosterable" or whatever. Like he just had some much baggage, nobody wanted anything to do with him. He had his long hair, so he probably just sat and stewed in his room listening to Offspring albums.

Those people weren't family... they were strangers.

But he's a troublemaker. And Cochran had a problem with troublemakers.

But in Cochran's eyes if you scrunched up your toilet paper instead of folding it, you were probably a troublemaker.

Yes... you fold the toilet paper. Time to put away childish things like killer dolls.

I honestly just see Andy in lots of therapy struggling with anxiety and PTSD

I'm sure every foster mother tried hard with to make Andy feel comfortable. Making him eggs, egg salad for lunch, and even buying him chocolate on occasion. There were just too many adjustment issues.

Probably flipped out whenever he had a foster father say "open it!"

The last foster father that said "open it" was referring to the zipper on his pants. Of course Andy was relieved to find out that there wasn't a Good Guy doll hiding behind it.

But honestly if I was Andy I would be annoyed if everybody tried making eggs for me so they could be like my mom, but they can't because they're not. Part of moving on is stemming away.
