So I talked to one of the producers, and asked if any interesting scenes were cut form Child's Play 2, because I've always wanted at least an extra 10 minutes of that movie.
He said no, what we saw is what was shot, they were careful not to shoot material that they would not need. "Always leave them wanting more."

That's very interesting. I mean we have the alternate TV scenes, but still, that is surprising.

Yeah, I mean it's true that you should leave us wanting more, but not THAT much more! 80 minutes. Lame.

I'd have been happy for them to keep the deleted/extended scenes in. That would've made it better overall I feel

Especially the ones involving Mattison and Chucky in his car. The shot where Chucky is rifling through papers in the front seat is kind of creepy.

Him looking at his own picture was pretty powerful.

Yeah, the way he momentarily glances at it and puts it down. Like he couldn't care less. No reaction from him at all.
Kinda like when watching the home movie in Curse

Yup that too. Also, the most powerful of all: in the flashback, him looking at young Barb with a fascinated look in his eyes. It's so weird, knowing he's going to kill this very same girl decades later, and in the form of a doll.

Yeah, I felt that too. A strange and bizarre feeling knowing what would occur twenty five years on
