I just realized that come November CP2 will have come out 25 years ago.
I know for most of you that's not a big deal since a lot of you might have started with Bride or even Seed. For us OG Chucky fans... just saying this is scary. Lol.

Yeah, I might have been born several years after this movie's release, but that still is pretty cool. And a little bizarre as well. This movie has always been really good. A very good horror sequel. I actually think it's better than the first, TBH.

I'll go record to say the best horror sequel of all time and the only sequel to rival the original film from any franchise. Maybe not any but definitely in the slasher genre.
I can't even say Halloween 2 because that is still based on the same night as Halloween 1. It's not new story even though it was great as well.
So yeah... I think even for those who introduced to Chucky through Bride or Seed... and now Curse. Going Back CP2 is definitely afan favorite.

Yeah this is my favourite horror sequel, normally I hate sequels but I have to say this is better than the original Child's Play

I honestly have a soft spot for a lot of horror sequels, lol. Hell, my favorite movie is a sequel But yeah, some horror sequels can be pretty uninspired, can feel forced, and is usually only made because the first/previous entries were successful at the box office. I don't get any of that from this. There was real effort put into this film. The climax is probably one of the best climaxes I've ever seen in a horror movie. Every horror movie generally has some type of chase scene near the end. This one did it to perfection.

Yeah, this movie is still impressive to this day. The transition from stationary to alive in some scenes is still held up as a benchmark in the industry.
Definitely up there as one of the better horror sequels. Along with Aliens

Are they gonna do a 25 year anniversary edition release? Or wait until 30? Or wait until never?

I'm guessing never.
The people at Universal look at us like the would be pieces of shit peasants we are.
We demand bread and they say "Let them eat cake"

love the Marie Antoinette reference, though many argue she has never actually said that, it was just a rumour fabricated by the poor people of France needing another reason to hate the Queen
